No it's switch that you plug all monitors into and a driver converts all the monitors into one resolution. Plus 2400x600 is a very low resolution. It sounds high but it is only 1,440,000 pixels on screen that your GPU has to push every frame. That's lower than 1600x1200 resolution which is 1,920,000 pixels. Never mind 2560x1600 which is 4,096,000 pixels your GPU has to render every single frame. I love your videos though man and you have some nice systems.

@ wanghao6207171, He's using a Matrox TripleHead2Go. It splits a single dual-link DVI onto 3 monitors. You can only push so much resolution out of a single dual-link DVI. I don't believe he can push anymore resolution with that.

why don't you use three 30" lcds to build up totally 7680*1600 screen? (3 * 2560*1600),and play at ultra high setting with 16x aa and 16x af on. That can be awesome.

even the most state of the art pc's cant run crysis at 2560*1600 nevermind 7680*1600, im thinking thats why hes running each monitor at only 800*600, im curious to know if it even looks better like this. cant really tell from the video

Lol. Nice rig, but the monitors arent that good. when you pause at the res, i did a quick calculation, and your 3GPU's are putting aout 1,440,000 pixles per frame. My Dual 7800GTX Rig, running a 24" puts out 2,304,000 pixels per frame. I agree, your getting way more FPS (regardless of res), but what is the native screen res? a 22" should support 1440 x 900, x3 would be 3,888,000 pixles per frame.

u kno, i think it wold, its just a tweak, it makes the game look and perform (a lot) better, all ive got is a 7300 gt, and on high i get like 6fps, but w/ his tweaks, i could get vhigh w/ 17 fps, and thats a big improvement (my specs p4 3.2 (oc from 2.6), point of view 7300 gt 512 mb ddr2, 1280 mb ram)

This is a great set up! I have had two 3 monitor set ups. To be honest I disliked and grew tired of them in less than 6 months. Unless you are trying to run 3 different applications at once per monitor. I don't see too much of a point in having a 3 monitor set up. I hated to see 2 frames going down the center of the view too. Plus having a wide but thin view. I got a Samsung LN-T4671F 46 in 120 HTZ HD LCD TV. And it looks way better. Crysis is awesome on it!

True, there are lot's of crazy benchies out there where people have made outrageous FPS claims and took full advantage of You tube's bad video quality to mask downgrades in graphic detail. The way I see it is if you run an honest fair benchmark, it's not a means of showing off but more a means of providing good accurate information on what a system can do and what hardware has been used should other people wish to conduct the same upgrades.
