  • This I like... Subbed!

  • fricking A-A-A-AWESOME!

  • Deadly Poison is my favorite!

  • Very nice song. please could you tell me how to achieve that reverse fx at 1.51? Is it just a synth preset?

  • @mrconcept Thanks :) That particular part is me playing on the inside of an upright piano (recorded with an H2 Mic). I'm muting the strings with my hand as I hit the key. The pedal is down. Then I reversed the recording. Check out my video "Scariest Piano Music Ever" for the raw session I took that from. Well kinda raw. I compressed the heck out of it and reversed it.

  • @mrconcept Oh and lol, just listen to this video at 1:17. Those reversed clips are directly from, or from the same part of the source recording that is in the track called "Blood".

  • @M0rganstudios Ahhh didn't spot that thanks. That piano string fx is cool too :) Im just listening to this on my Quested S8's at the moment, whereas before on a laptop. Much better to hear the mix, really good. Love the reverb on it.

  • hi,

i really love this track! the choirs are great.

  • Hmm, that does look like a great deal!

  • @M0rganstudios Haha, I know. There's just so much to buy! But I think EWQL looks like a good place to start at least.

  • Yes, that's definitely true. If I was just starting out, I'd buy the East West Composer's collection. Great deal, I've already bought most of it as it came out...sooooo much more expensive that way =\

  • @M0rganstudios I'll upgrade at some point :D I've heard that LASS is better for solo instruments, is this your experience?

  • ya man, I think anything aimed specifically at solo strings is going to blow EWQLSO away. EWQLSO has some really nice solo strings, but they aren't super programmed for flexibility which is really what you need to play whatever is in your head. I love the 4\3 note recordings of the spicatto notes =)

  • @M0rganstudios Thats basically the feeling I got. I've head that EWQL is unparalleled for getting big orchestral sounds, however. I guess you just have to use multiple libraries still, heh. Sorry to hijack all the comments here, haha :D But thanks for the info, I appreciate it

  • @M0rganstudios Yeah, I've never even used EWQL but it seems to be the thing to get. Seems like everyone is using it! I just don't have the kind of money it takes right now. I still use the samples that come with Logic unfortunately. They're not the worst at least, haha.

  • Very cool stuff scott! Looks like I really need to get EWQL :P haha

  • At 3:01 it sounded like a theme reference to the TV series of The Incredible Hulk.

  • these songs never get old! I played this alot during this Halloween season!

  • Thx :) We did too. I was blasting TDW tracks to the whole neighborhood this year ^^

  • this song is awesome 5/5

  • thx ! Though it's actually a sampler for the album, something like 12-14 tracks.

  • WOW!

  • unter brilalance 5 start

  • Wow Scott! Great job again!!

  • Amazing work, you can tell the story just from the music. Maybe its just me being a halo fanatic but with the choir like singing it always reminds me of Halo but with the deep cave sounds it reminds me of the flood/horror movies.

  • oh yess! great job man, and thanks again!!

  • Thanks man, this is AWESOME! And so is the CD! :)
