  • what the fuck are you talking about

  • This is stupid. For most people, being a Christian shouldn't involve quitting your job and abandoning your family. Neither of those are necessary to get into heaven.

"We know the Universe doesn't work like this!"

Really!?! How did WE find this out? If there a scientiic experiment I could perform to validate this conclusion, since, of course, science is the only valid way of knowing anything?

  • @stallion4life If eternal life were real, then NO ONE who genuinely believed in it would give a serious shit about their Earthly life. The 80 odd years you spend being physically alive are absolute peanuts compared to eternity. If you're going to live forever, who cares if you spend a tiny fraction of that time being poor or unemployed? It's interesting how many Christians are conservatives.

  • I think you're right. Everyone knows it's false deep within. Some just care about what feels good instead of what is real.

  • SOOOOOOO TRUEEEEEE. I know atheist don't care much about details, But I would like to add the christians should atleast use the bible, AND I AINT talking about john 3:16 Im talking about the whole thing. Also they should follow Jesus example, its simple don't worry about money, treat others how you want to be treated, high morals, and help not force other intrested people to do the same. But bare with me if there is a God there is a devil, and a devil will defame god by creating false beliefs.

  • @1Surge Asking someone we doesn't believe in religion (Wrap your head around it RELIGION! ALL ENCOMPASSING!) Not just bits and pieces that if you could make clear we would "See the light" You can't "Save" us because there's nothing to be saved from. I might as well ask you to give up religion & become a Juggalo after reading their awesome lyrics about fucking bee hives. It's as much a religion as Atheism. You just don't get it. You sound like Charlie Browns teacher. WE DON'T GIVE A FLYING FUCK!

  • @TheCrimsonification And there is your problem. You can never abdicate ignorance by not caring. And I was not saying to believe, I am saying not all but many of the arguments atheist use against religion only aply against religion not the bible itself. How would you like it if we compare all evolutionist to nazis? or all atheist to the Khmer Krahom. You wouldn't like it. And I know there are many things we can be saved from: corruption, greed, murder, polution ect.

  • I liked the Ronald picture. That might actually happen here in America.

  • If you accept evil then god can not be omnibenevolent. Therefore god, if real, is not good. Give it up. Christianity is a logical fail.

  • Ego: The god maker

Bigger the ego, bigger the god.

  • like all evil things, this has nothing common with reality. pure manipulations.

  • *Nobody* believes in god. It's just something they pretend to believe in so they don't have to feel guilt when they hurt other people.

Think about it - religious people clearly understand that the law can punish them after they commit a crime, but it never seems to occur to them that god might punish them before they commit one.

    *Nobody* believes in god.

  • religion is about control nothink more

  • Religion is mostly a cultural thing. We don't put much thought into whether we should follow a football team, be a fan of a musician, or artist. Life just unfolds according to genetics and environment. Christians often decide to be one because of family and friends, and then practice their religion the way they do.

  • The argument in this video is flawed. That Christians don't act impulsively upon their faith doesn't mean they don't genuinely believe it. It's like when a kid procrastinates his homework knowing that doing so will have terrible repercussions, which is what I'm doing right now...

  • @Zimx02 you've missed the point by a fraction. Christians don't act like their fellow humans are going to suffer infinite torment or infinite reward. The ones that do seem to have a "neener neener neener." attitude about it... selfish monkeys -___- they won't even sacrifice their shot at salvation to save a hundred of their fellows (which is a catch 22 since if you don't then why would you deserve salvation?)

  • @PinkProgram That was not mentioned at all in the video, and therefore you can't claim I missed the point. It's not that your reasoning is any more valid than that presented in the video either.

The criteria to "salvation" is pretty laid out, and it does not necessarily include sacrificing yourself to save a hundred fellows. They don't act like the black and white interpretation of what someone would act about fellow humans receiving said things, but do act upon it nonetheless.

  • @Zimx02 it wasn't mentioned in the video but I did an experiment asking christians if they would give up salvation to save 100 innocents from hell. The majority said "God won't make me choose that." Like they know the mind of a god -___- The atheists and pagans on the other hand almost universally gave up salvation to help their fellow humans. It seems like the opposite should be the case now doesn't it :3

  • @PinkProgram It is entirely irrelevant to this. I suggest you get a college education before commenting on the subject. lol

  • @Zimx02 that's funny coming from a monkey ^_^ I was bringing up my experiment to showcase how little christians actually think about the salvation of others. If you thought other humans would be tortured forever without deserving it wouldn't you do everything in your power to stop that from happening :3

  • @PinkProgram That's funny coming from a fat, pseudo-intellectual weeaboo kid with autism. As I said, everything you just mentioned is completely and entirely irrelevant. Anyone with a legitimate education in logic can tell you that. Pretending never makes up for the real thing.

  • @Zimx02 projecting much :3

  • @PinkProgram and in reply to this comment, i would say no i wouldnt, I can be totally truthful when saying that. and do you have any records of that? like a video or charts or something? and when did you do this "experiment"?

  • @TheyAreHere2 the experiment is on my channel. Why exactly wouldn't you give up salvation to save a hundred innocents from eternal damnation? The answer I usually get is either "god wouldn't make me." or "Humans deserve to be tortured for eternity."

  • lol I thought it was funny when the guy in the video said Christians were rational human beings.....HAHAHA!! Some will consider that they are not right and look at the evidence but most are to ignorant/arrogant/stupid to even consider a rational argument.

  • How do you know what properties God has?

The implication of this video is not that christians think they are better, merely that they ought to feel a moral obligation to constantly proselytize to their irreligious peers given their beliefs. certainly, if I held those beliefs, I would not be able to bare the thought of my fellow humans suffering eternal torment or missing out on eternal reward.

  • @JmkLcAeJsm I have seen many Christians who spend every waking hour trying to understand the bible and follow God's words. So there are actually people who believe it. It's a faith though, which is why it is different than 50 billion dollars.

  • @TheyAreHere2 no such thing as a REAL christian. All christians are equal in the eyes of god... that is if it has eyes :3 It isn't up to you to decide which christians are real or not now is it? Only one judge right? Or do you claim to be better than god? (I do but that's beside the point). Technically the only real christians are jewish if you want to nitpick ;D

  • @PinkProgram I see what you did there, finding answers to your own questions out of the air. maybe to god all christians are equal but in society there are christians that dont go to church, that go to church whenever they can.those are the REAL christians not just the ones that carry the label to salvation. and if there is a god and you knew 100 percent that there was, would you still say you are better? no? oh look, i can answer my own questions too.

  • @TheyAreHere2 If that god was the christian god I would call it a pathetic monster directly to its face. :3 I am better than Yaweh. What I would consider to be a god makes Yaweh look like a violent amoeba ^_^

  • @PinkProgram nice research. YaHweh is hebrew for god its not the name of god. and please explain to me why he is a pathetic monster? and what do you consider a god? not because it matters in the end what your opinion is. "emote""emote"

  • @TheyAreHere2 no Yaweh is the Accadian name of the Son of El that was worshiped by Abraham. Yaweh, Son of El, Brother of Ba'al, Destroyer of Mountains. As to god being pathetic, it whines and cries about a bunch of monkeys not paying attention and then slaughters them out of jealousy. Every opportunity it is given to redeem itself it fails. My concept of a god is an 11 dimensional construct. It isn't as limited as what humans consider to be a god ^_^ Your god can't move sideways through time.

  • @PinkProgram you know Ba'al is pagan god? and in hebrew yahweh is god.

  • @TheyAreHere2 you do know that before Abraham Yaweh was a pagan god right? Yaweh was one of the Elohim in a pantheon ruled by the god El. The cult of Abraham slaughtered anyone believing in the other Elohim to establish Yaweh as the only god. Really nice religion you have there -__- Ever wonder why Yaweh enjoys the smell of burned blood?

  • @PinkProgram Hm, no i havent. why? because it wasn't blood. it was the innocence of the lamb. and i can not find anything on a god named yahweh "yaweh", just that its god in hebrew. you know what i did find? El mean God too. hmm

  • @TheyAreHere2 Innocence... then why didn't God like Kane's sacrifice? Wheat is more innocent than lambs. Look further back. El was the accadian version of Enlil the sumerian god. The gods beneath him were called the Elohim. Both Yaweh and Ba'al were Elohim. Yaweh even had a wife. Do a little research. Doesn't your book say to SEEK. That involves actively looking, not just taking the word of some ancient text that is a xerox copy of sumerian myth.

  • @TheyAreHere2 if something can't be found through science I don't see any other way it could be found, science is the only accurate tool we have for testing the reality of what is.

  • @pedgarrett123 SOOO TRUE!!! That is why I am asking if evolution is a proven fact or a very brough up theorie, cuase although prebiotic molecules have been proven to appear by chance. Livings cells cannot be fabircated even on purpouse only by addind DNA, but that brings us back to 0. But we insist on thinking evolution is real when its just a theory, just like spontaneuos generation was a "fact" for about 2000 years.

  • @1Surge Evolution is a theory in the same way that gravity is a theory. They are called theories in science so that they are able to be updated as new information becomes apparent but the basic principle of how they work is a fact. Evolution explains the diversity of life, the origins of life is not part of the theory of evolution, so the fact that we do not know (yet) how life originated that does not lessen the fact that evolution cause the diversity of life.

  • @pedgarrett123 You have a valid point. And infact many show it as a fact as well. Therefore you may agree with me that "Theory should remain Thoery" until proven to be a fact. Theory good or bad should be respected becuase they are expresions and opinions but should not be enforced. Only facts should be enforced as fact. Otherwise evolutionist endanger themselves to turn just like religious zelots and fanatics. ALso those who fight gravity are usualy procreator ironic huh?

  • @1Surge Theory should remain so as latter evidence may adjust it. But it is more than an opinion as theories have predictive power. A hypothesis on the other hand does not have predictive power, and evidence that it can make predictions need to be found. For example intelligent design and believe in a creator is a hypothesis as they have not been shown to be able to make predictions. Evolution on the other had has made the prediction that species have common ancestors and evidence has shown this

  • @pedgarrett123 Theories can help an guide us yes I agree. But they should not be treated like facts meaning thy are not absolute. That is all I am saying. Hence if some decides not to believe in your theory you should respect him. However if it turns to a fact and he still does not listen then you are in a right to call him ignorant and stubbon. By the way fundemental and fanatic religious people are hard headed. Feeling moraly superior but in reality are the oppsite.

  • @1Surge Evolution is as much of a fact as you can get in science. It is only called a theory so that it can be added to. Most Christians now accept that Evolution is a fact. If you look at the evidence that supports evolution from many different fields it is obvious that this is how the diversity of life occurred.

  • @pedgarrett123 Really I thought facts were supouse to be absoloute. Your telling me there is no absolute in science? Like cells in our body don't live as long as we do but regenarate throught out most of our life. So there are no facts? Even if that was true when it comes to educated guesses anybody can come up with a counter educated guess with just as much value. And "christianity" has bend there own beliefs for many and favor if the mayority believed the earth is flat so would they.

  • @1Surge What I'm trying to say is that the basic principle is a fact but some of the details of it may need adjusting. But it is evolution that causes the diversity of life... Fact.

  • @1Surge Im sorry if there is a missunderstanding, its is just that christianity is to blame for many things including the loss of belief. Don't think all christians are hypocrite self proclamed saints. And they shield themselves behind the once trusted bible. People actually believe the bible supports hell, and killing or converting by force those who don't support your faith. But those people could easily take there ways to atheism. Its been done many thrue out history.

  • @TheyAreHere2 To say "I'm right. You're wrong" IS saying you think you're better. And you do it in such a smuggish way and almost always ends with the slap in the face known as a "Jesus loves you." or "You may not believe in god, but he believes in you." Go fuck yourselves. Would you like it if I mocked your beliefs and said "Heil Satan!" with a stupid fucking grin and a jerked off ego? Science proves real shit. If god were real, science would have proven it. THERE IS NO GOD! Dumbfuck!

  • @TheCrimsonification so if i said 2 +2 = 4 and you said it = 6 (not saying your dumb or anything) if i said "your wrong and im right" ,because i totally completely believe that i am right, that means im saying that im better than you? I dont know if you thought i was being smuggish or christians in general are so i cant really say anything on that. and whats wrong with saying jesus loves you or god beleives in you? ive never heard the second one and it does sound a little stupid (too long 1 sec)

  • @TheCrimsonification but does that make it an insult? if someone prayed over me or blessed me from another religion i dont get how that would be offending. i dont get why "yourselves" is plural since its just me on an secular video :P. Well saying Heil satan isnt really mocking my belief since satan is a christian thing.but if you said something that sort of pushes your beliefs like an ahole yeh, thats pretty annoying. Yes science proves things but the absence od a scientific justification

  • @TheCrimsonification doesnt make something fake, so saying "i cant see behind that wall therefore there is nothing behind that wall but i can see through that window so whats in there must be whats behind the wall." sounds childish. but if science proving something is needed for it to be real i guess the core of the earth isnt real, the sun isnt an energy source, and time can be manipulated willy nilly with a magnet and copper. i was trying to get all your sentences so please point out missed.

  • @TheyAreHere2 Science has proven that the earth's core is iron. Science proves what can't be understood. Then when we understand it, we see how ridiculous thinking a god had anything to do with it is utterly fucked up. You are a messed up ignorant asshole. Yous should really get your head out of religions ass and check out some books on physics, evolution and basically anything non-religious. Until then enjoy the flat earth in the center of the universe, nutjob.

  • @TheCrimsonification if it cant be understood no matter what you do you wont be able to understand it because its an ultimatum. we dont understand it is better :P. and i believe the mantel is iron and that the core is different molten metals, but i do not KNOW. We have never been down there and the only reason thats the THEORY is because of things like volcanos and rift vallleys. I dont understand how im an asshole or messed up, I have ADD but thats not really a big thing on long term knowledge

  • @TheCrimsonification And ill have you know i took high school so i probably know as much of that as you do. again, i dont see how im an ignorant messed up asshole. and looking only at nonreligious things doesnt mean your being open minded just because you think religion is closed minded. I still have a very weak doubt that evolution is happening but thats because i basically grew up watching animal planet and the discovery channel. and saying i believe old SCIENCE theories just because im

  • @TheCrimsonification religious is a fallacy so dont bring that into a religious discussion because at somepoint the other persons gonna notice. I dont know how your perceiving my tone but im trying to be calm so i wish you would too, do you really need to diss me in all your comments? And again, Just know im not retarded cause im religious or because i have ADD ok? :D

  • @TheyAreHere2 Last time. Promise. Religion is a mental disease. You are sick. I also have ADD. But unlike some people, I think it's just a cute way of getting people on drugs. Fuck them & their Aderall, salts and shit. I smoke the herb. Mary Jane. Don't bring up religion in a religious discussion cause someone might notice? WTF!? You started this shit when you said "YOU WILL NOT FIND HIM with science." You brung up the religious garbage. ans Atheist's don't like litterbugs.

  • @TheCrimsonification Religion is a belief :P me being an atheist or a theist doesnt change how hard i work or how i act, at least not directly. No, lol, the first sentence in my last comment was supposed to be connected to the last in my 2nd to last comment :P. And yes, you wont find him with science. thinking you can is ignorant. Maybe if i say you cant prove him with science, because there is nothing to prove the fact that we are here should be proof enough. but for people who need to see...

  • @TheyAreHere2 Science isn't looking to prove or disprove god. It's simply learning the truth. The truth disproves god. It's just a by-product of learning. If you don't think believing or not believing in religion doesn't have an affect on your mental state, you are so fucking wrong. The fact we are here says that matter beat anti matter by a GOOOOOAAAAALLLLL!!! Everyone always asking "WHO" created the universe instead of "What". "We are here." is not proof of a god. It simply proves we exist.

  • why is that one person saying "Mmm..." at 0:36? does he think fire is delicious? love the video, by the way.

  • @betheman002 You obviously know nothing of Christianity and its history. They have. And in many parts of the world still do.

  • @Mattrix0 how? i know my people havent

  • @betheman002 Crusades, Inquisition, Salem, the Roman Empire. If the Westboro Baptists could get away with killing people I don't think they would hesitate. The catholic church is killing in africa through misinformation and disease vectors. Religions in general are a horrible idea and a waste of resources.

  • @PinkProgram still my people did not we are true christians

  • @betheman002 then your people aren't human :3 Have you heard of the no true scotsman fallacy? There is no such thing as a "true" christian. When you claim to be a true christian you actually harm your claim to christianity. Every christian claims to be a "True" christian ^_^

  • @PinkProgram they are true christians because they were the first to accept christ we don't want converts so we do no evil to others look it up knanaya

  • Bravo!

  • Great vid!

  • That's what Christians do. We go to far away countries and live miserable lives to help others and possibly convert them and many of us die in the process. .

You probably cant give your best friend 20 dollars with out feeling high and mighty.

You are not a respectful person, you are not kind, and you are above all not very interested in facts. Go back in your hole and complain.

  • @vesperus1981 I do think that some good does come from missionaries and such. But also a lot of evil. Helping people while pushing dogmatic beliefs upon them is not helping. If a crate of bibles is sent in place of a crate of food or medical supplies, that is not helping. If the motivation was to truly help, and not just convert, you would leave your bibles and beliefs at home and just focus on helping.

  • @Mattrix0 islam converted lot of people with fear and the sword how would you like it if christians started doing that eh?

  • @vesperus1981 His point: you have jobs, you drive cars, you keep hobbies, you play games. If you TRULY believed in your bullshit, then it should consume your WHOLE LIFE, because thats how you get to your paradise. If you THINK its true, it should take up SOME of your life.

How many missionary trips do most christians go on? 1, 2, 3? thats not a whole lot of devotion there, is it?

  • @AboyNAmEDsued And you wouldn´t break any of the then commandments, love your enemies, hold the other cheek and pray for those who curse you. But who does?

  • @vesperus1981 You're not doing a lot of helping when missionaries go over to other countries to "help" them. Look at the Philippines. The close-mindedness that religion infected the Philippines with has prevented the country from advancing from being a 3rd world country.

  • Super-interesting. I also agree with u!!!

  • Blueavantiguy I don't seek to argue with you, every man is right in there own mind.but when u die I hope the lord shows mercy upon u and your unbelief,.and yes there murderers and rapists, but god and Jesus Christ know man and know what there capable of doing,we fall into temptation easily.I don't know where've you been and what u've seen that caused u to not love and have faith in the lord,..but he has faith and loves you.u may think he does not exist and ur right he doesn't exist among this pla

  • @perceptionOFpink

Lol, Whats "the lord" going to do, he is simply a entity with no evidence to his existence, There is a probability of his existance, but the evidence points away from it

  • @perceptionOFpink have you read your bible? Yaweh does not show mercy. The destroyer of mountains demands you to grovel at his feet or suffer an eternity in agony :3 There is a reason christians are called "God Fearing." because if such a creature exists it is an abominable horror. Job was pious and faithful wasn't he? ^_^ you better hope your god doesn't exist because it makes Hitler look like a kitten ;D

  • very interesting stuff.

  • DARWIN AND MARILYN MANSON ARE ALWAYS RIGHT lol STUPID GEE IS TOO LATE

  • religion prevails where ever ignorance is dominate and prevailing. sometimes the domain with which this ignorance dominates is not the environment, but within the individules own mind. A person may say "I just have a personal relationship with Jesus" but they are seen no different than one which says "I just have a personal relationship with Tinker Bell" it's delution at it's prime

  • faith is highly important ,you have to trust god...trust what he speaks,,if not you will enjoy the long way down to hell...people who dont believe in shit..like an anthiest will surely have a warm cozy spot in hell..

  • @perceptionOFpink And we're looking forward to it ;D

  • @perceptionOFpink A large proportion of convicted criminals in prison have "found jesus" so on your logic are now going to heaven despite being rapists, murderers etc. Whereas decent ordinary people who just don't have blind faith in your invisible friend are headed to hell.

If this is what you believe than your moral compass is kaput.

  • How can something perfect (god) make something that is not (man and woman) answer he is not perfect

  • Obviously you are intrigued by the fact that the Bible has 2.4 billion followers plus the jews, islamists etc. Some of the Bible is about the God on Earth which is known as Humanity and some is about Jesus who is just a nice guy and some is about GOD who people can't really see unless one considers oneself a God or Goddess then is a part of the whole. Remember the Bible is for Children of GOD. Constantine made the Bible say to support government and thus betrayed Jesus who wanted a Godly Kingdom

  • Anally raped by hulk hogan every night? Hmm that might be fun. But working in a salt mine that would suck ass.

  • I've read through these comments and found a pattern here. First off, Dex person, your atheist killing list is, well, innacurate...you have to realize that these dictators did not kill IN THE NAME OF ATHEISM. It was a form of state worship--government was GOD. Next, the Hitler being an atheist or christian argument has already been settled. Hitler was a catholic. End of story. The only writings that were claiming he was an atheist were a poor French translation and were later debunked. FACT.

  • "I confess that I will never ally myself with the parties which aim to destroy Christianity. (...) At no time was greater damage ever done to Christianity than in those years when the Christian parties ruled side by side with those who denied the very existence of God."

Do you deny these words are Hitler's? He was not an atheist. He was raised Catholic and even when he rejected these beliefs he still believed in Providence, a Creator, a Jesus, a God. Deny that and you're a liar.

  • @proceo12

The holocaust wasn't started by any religion. It was started by evil... Nothing more nothing less...

  • @dex1391 No such thing as 'evil'. That's just you brushing away the blame. The actual fact that religion was part of their Zeitgeist. Almost all Nazi soldiers and followers were Christian. Their faith did not stop them from killing those men. In fact, it is possible to say it aided in their antisemitism, their hatred for the people who were blamed for killing their Lord.

  • @viridismonasteriense

Simply not true... remember that they were led by an atheist.... So if he used religion as a tool... it only makes a bigger black mark on atheism.

  • @proceo12

"National Socialism and religion cannot exist together.... The heaviest blow that ever struck humanity was the coming of Christianity. Bolshevism is Christianity's illegitimate child. Both are inventions of the Jew. The deliberate lie in the matter of religion was introduced into the world by Christianity.... Let it not be said that Christianity brought man the life of the soul, for that evolution was in the natural order of things."

    Adolf Hitler

Does that sound Catholic to you?

  • @dex1391 Hitler was a Catholic, best remember that.

  • @theystoleitfromus

"Christianity is a rebellion against natural law, a protest against nature. Taken to its logical extreme, Christianity would mean the systematic cultivation of the human failure."

    Adolf Hitler

Does that sound Catholic to you?

  • @dex1391 " I confess that I will never ally myself with the parties which aim to destroy Christianity. (...) At no time was greater damage ever done to Christianity than in those years when the Christian parties ruled side by side with those who denied the very existence of God."

Does that sound very Atheist to you?

  • @viridismonasteriense

Nice try... how about a quote not out of Mein Kampf...?

  • @dex1391

Hitler was never excommunicated from the Catholic Church, which means, that, according to Church law, he remained a Catholic until his death.

  • @viridismonasteriense

That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard...

  • Wow, you are really fucked up guys.

Christian is the best religion ever.

It makes perfect sense, instead of freaking bud ah -.-

  • @ILagable I'm an atheist, but if I had to call anything the best religion I'd go with Buddhism, a religion of peace and inner spirituality (although even they had had their share of human sacrifice). I want to like Christians, but every time when we get to the core of things they believe because they don't know and they let themselves be told that they are worthless slaves who deserve to feel guilty, who need saving from themselves by a massmurdering invisible monster who can kill all he wants!

  • @viridismonasteriense I'm not trying to attack you, but well. Your opinion...

  • @ILagable You said "Christianity is the best religion ever". I don't consider you as attacking me, but I am attacking that claim. (although I am biased in the sense that I think all religions should go) but I do admit it's one of the better ones, but it's stil fucked up. I'd have Buddha over Jesus any day.

  • @viridismonasteriense Well, that's your belief.

I mean, i just cant say buddha is better........

And i do say jesus is better.

BUT. If you say Buddha is better, i don't mind... really...

  • @ILagable I accept that. We agree to disagree.

  • Your example of America was accurate, because in their conquest for money and power, have corrupted everything sacred and holy, which they've gotten their hands on.

  • @KpEMuKoBcu Money is a tool, a means to get to an end. Don't blame money. Blame the person wielding the tool. Holding the money. Now power, yes, absolute power corrupts absolutely, that is why by definition I would never trust any all-powerful deity. The Founding Fathers started America so well, they were some intelligent people, but over time the religious fundamentalists have taken over and superimposed their beliefs on everything and everyone & in the East it's Islam that destroyed so much!

  • @KpEMuKoBcu It's why I hate religion. The system of belief that came forth out of the Bible. HOWEVER. You can blame the religion all you want for (mis)interpreting the Bible, and doing heinous things in the name of their God, but some things were already in the Bible in the first place. Some bits of the Bible disgust me. Exodus Chapter 21 disgusts me. Luke 19:27 disgusts me. No God of peace and love would ever include those words in the Bible, so either he's malevolent or by definition not real.

  • excellent video. Their belief is called faith, and faith may or may not be rational. In this case, for me it's irrational. But when you've got nothing left, that's what people tend to hold on to.

  • @dex1391

Holy fuck, who's the bigot around here again?

That book is about as ambiguous as they come. Or, well, maybe it's just hopelessly contradictory. Whichever...anyway, the point is that when you have an ambiguous collection of baseless assertions, you're going to have multiple interpretations. How do you know yours is valid, Mr. Jesus guy?

  • @jamaicanlager

    You're a bigot.

  • @JmkLcAeJsm

Yes, that's basically what he's saying.

No, that's exactly what he's saying.

  • @dex1391

Some atheists have a greater understanding of those disgusting scriptures than you could hope to obtain...hence the reason they so vehemently oppose them.

  • @jamaicanlager

LOL... no that's a lie... I've never met an atheist that understood the bible... and very few that have actually read it.

  • @iDaruma

Nothing is more funny than an atheist... calling a Christian... close minded.

Yes... if you attack Christians... I'm going to call you on it... That makes you close minded... not me.

If you attack based on race, sex, religion or any other distinguishing characteristic... you are a bigot.

  • @dex1391

Your lack of even a fundamental understanding of atheism and the difference between passive indifference and active faith is showing.

You might wanna take care of that.

  • @jamaicanlager

You may want to take care of your lack of understanding of the English language.

    a·the·ism  /ˈeɪθiˌɪzəm/ Show Spelled[ey-thee-iz-uhm] Show IPA

    –noun

    1.

the doctrine or belief that there is no god.

  • @dex1391 I've already posted the actual definition, from the Oxford English Dictionary. You are wrong. Your definition leaves open room to say that you have to outright deny the existence of god to be atheist. Which. Is. Wrong.

Atheism is a lack of belief in a deity. You really aren't making christians look good with your idiotic repeating of the same, already answered questions over and over.

You could always be a troll I suppose.

  • @dex1391

    Here's another definition.

    a·the·ism (ā'thē-ĭz'əm)

    n. 1. Disbelief in or denial of the existence of God or gods.

Oh, and thanks for posting only the definition that best suits your position, fucker. Two can play at that game.

But let's not play word games. There is a decidedly vast difference between active faith and passive indifference.

  • @jamaicanlager

Nice language from an atheist... typical...

    You have blind faith...

  • @dex1391

you came to this channel to start shit, but until christians leave us alone, which includes keeping your ridiculous fairy tales out of politics and schools and never mentioning them in public again ever thaen i get to harass you right back by explaining to you how stupid and wrong your beliefs are.

  • @z3r0t0l3r4ns

Ah yes... more bigotry... You want to eliminate the 1st amendment. You pretend that there's no God so that you can do whatever you want without feeling guilty about it. It's selfish and stupid. You act like spoiled little children.

  • @dex1391 The only reason you don't do bad things is because some higher power tells you not to and THAT is why you feel guilty? Not because of humanity and compassion? I'd go further and say you only feel "guilty" because when you do bad things, you know it affects your place in heaven. THAT is selfish and believing it based on NO solid reasoning? THAT is stupid.

I love how you people look down on atheists morally. The only reson you don't do bad things is for your own selfish gain. Whereas

  • @Person012345

LOL... you have no idea what it means to be Christian is do you?

Being atheist is one thing... but to think you know something about Christianity and then lie about it... makes you look like an idiot.

  • @dex1391 mmhmm. Does it matter that I had to go to church for 10 years of my life (not from 0 - 10)?

Obviously I know nothing about christianity.

Care to explain what you found to be inaccurate? Maybe you could put me straight.

  • @Person012345

You have some questions about Christianity? I'd happily help you out.

I've read multiple bibles, been to multiple types of Christian services, been part of bible studies classes and had 1 on 1 time with clergy...

I don't claim to be an expert. But there's no atheist out there that knows what I do.

  • @dex1391 Even an atheist who used to be a priest or w/e? Who studied christianity most his life?

You must be knowledgable. Ok, how can you call a god who orders the slaughter of thousands of people "just" and "loving"?

  • @Person012345

How can I call that just and loving? I tell ya what...

    I'll show you...

    watch this youtube video...

"Is God a Tyrant? (Biblical Tyranny)"

    That should help you out.

  • @dex1391 You could, y'know, explain it, given how incredibly knowledgeable you are.

  • @Person012345

I sense sarcasm... which is pathetic...

But if you have a question... I'll answer it

  • @Person012345

That's not how it works... idiot.

  • an athiest doesn't do bad things because he feels empathy for the other person and cares about how they feel. Well, not all of them admittedly, some only don't for personal gain. Because humanity is varied like that.

  • @Person012345

Where does this morality come from if there's no God?

  • @dex1391 Empathy, compassion, etc.

  • @Person012345

What do atheists know about compassion?

  • @dex1391 Wasn't it god who ordered saul to kill every living thing in an entire city of amalekites (and then was fucking PISSED hen he had the mercy to leave the king alive)? Men, women, children, livestock. And that is supposed to be a compassionate god?

Yeah, I think I know more about compassion then, for example, yahweh. You see, I gauge how people might feel about my actions, and base my decisions on that.

  • @Person012345

yes.. God does judge us... I have no problem with that. Why shouldn't we be judged. I have free will. That is the greatest gift that we could possibly hope for.

Since I was given that gift. I owe God everything I am.

BTW... you can't believe that God is evil... and non existent... You can only choose one.

The Christian understanding of God is that he's all knowing, and all good...

  • @dex1391 Aye, I don't believe in him. I am however, talking from the standpoint for the moment that he does exist, because your argument demands it.

And I believe that IF Yahweh did exist, he would in fact be evil.

And no, you don't have free will. "I'm giving you free will, now worship me or burn in hell" is like saying the IRS gives you free will to choose to pay your taxes. It's just that if you don't, they throw you in jail.

Technically you have free will, but you aren't allowed to

  • @Person012345

LOL that's not the way it works... Christians don't believe God is evil...

    That's just a stupid idea.

Let me correct one error you made... God doesn't send anyone to hell..

But I'm sure you don't believe me.

Again... you can't believe that God is evil... and that He doesn't exist...

    It doesn't work that way.

    God is anything but...

  • You know, it's funny. I don't actually think I said yahweh sent anyone to hell. So your correction is not so much a correction. And I definitely didn't say that christians think god is evil.

I don't believe in god. However, I cannot PROVE it. Therefore there is a level of doubt. Thus, IF the god of the bible does exist, I believe he is evil.

  • @Person012345

God doesn't send people to hell...

God isn't evil... and the bible doesn't describe an evil God.

    your views are irrelevant.

  • @dex1391 As are yours

  • @Person012345

    Watch the video...

  • exercise it.

Also, you are demonstrating the lack of compassion you have. What about all those poor people that saul put to death by god's order? Don't you give a fuck about them, because at least god is going to send you to heaven, right?

  • @Person012345

Lack of compassion? What are you talking about?

    Everyone dies...

    Everyone dies...

    Everyone dies...

It's not a big deal. Sorry that you're mad at God because He didn't make you immortal.

You will die someday... When you do... you can complain directly to God...

    Good luck with that.

  • @dex1391 I don't give a shit about me. It's also impossible to be mad at something I don't believe in.

If you think it's perfectly fine to murder children just because "everybody dies", then I think we can stop the conversation about compassion and morals here.

  • @Person012345

God doesn't murder anyone. God judges... If you don't believe that you should be judged... too bad. We all deserve to be judged.

try this youtube video... "Is God a Tyrant? (Biblical Tyranny)"

  • @dex1391 So I can murder people as long as I call it judging? Cool.

Your morality is a joke. You've succeeded in lending support to my argument. You don't give a shit about the people who were killed, your happy so long as you can get into heaven.

  • @Person012345

LOL wow are you slow... Technically everyone dies because of God... Everyone is born because of God.

So if you're going to be mad at God because you have to die... Why not praise Him because you were born?

    Your morality... is non existent.

It's too bad that you're going to die...

We all die. It's the way God created us. But... at least we were created...

If you want to be immortal... make a deal with the devil.

  • @dex1391 No, you are making yet more strawmen. It's a strawman massacre.

As I explained, I don't care that I'll die. I'd prefer I was never born, so no, I'm not going to praise that cunt for that.

Would you care to provide some evidence that my morality is non-existant? I'd guess I have to show more moral strength every day than you do in your entire life.

And how can I make a deal with something I don't believe in?

  • @Person012345

Of course you care that you die. You're mad at God... which is funny because you pretend that God doesn't exist.

If you'd prefer that you weren't born... kill yourself.

evidence that your morality is non existent? Easy... you're an atheist... You believe that you're simply an evolved earthworm...

  • @dex1391 Evidence that I care about if I die?

No, I am human, I therefore have instincts that stop me from killing myself. I am not insane.

It's not that simple, but evolved is the key word. With our evolution came the ability for empathy and compassion. Which is where I get my morality. Rather than some dictated code by a crazy murderous tyrant.

God is like Kim Jong Il, except worse.

  • @Person012345

sorry but if you wish you were never born... you are insane.

Is that the problem... You had a horrible life so you want to blame God... and the best way to blame God is to pretend that He doesn't exist?

LOL again... you can't believe that God is evil... and non existent. It makes you look foolish to say so.

  • @dex1391 /facepalm

Are you always this dumb or are you making a special effort for me?

How hard is it to understand that I do not believe in god, but since I can't be 100%, IF there is a god, he is evil. Not both at the same time, either.

And no, I already explained why I don't believe in god. It's logical to not believe in it until evidence is shown that it does exist (reference fairies, bed monsters, flying spaghetti monster etc.)

  • @Person012345

here... I'll give you your own facepalm

Fine... If you want to believe that...

    1..God does not exist

    or

    2. God is evil..

That's fine... you can feel free to do so... just don't lie and say that you got that info form the bible.

  • @dex1391 The bible is a disgusting book.

  • @Person012345

    Try to read it...

  • @dex1391 I would suggest that you do the same. It is blatantly just a book to control people and make them do what you want in the context of religion. Christianity is just a way to control the masses.

  • @Person012345

control the masses... I'm glad you said that...

It just proves my theory about atheism...

You pretend that there's no God so that you can feel free to do as you choose.

grow up... we all have to act in accordance with rules...

You're acting like a spoiled child..

  • @dex1391 No, I already explained why I don't believe in god. As a result, I don't feel the need to follow fucking ridiculous rules like " 27 Do not cut the hair at the sides of your head or clip off the edges of your beard.". Hey, on that note, when was the last time you stoned a homosexual to death?

I act within the rules. The rules being the law.

  • @dex1391 90% of all inmates in US prison are Christians. Yet all of them still believe they can go to hell. Whatever they've done, they can be forgiven. So sod the rules and do whatever you want and pray on your deathbed because all you have to do is pray for forgiveness and believe it'll come when you wish hard enough. You just have to accept this massmurdering tyrannical slaver Big Brother as your master and you'll be rewarded with heaven!
