  • @Sparfregundo I always thought he was 18

  • I... KILLED...MUFASA! *flashback* NOOOOOOOOOOO *end of flash back* MURDERER!!!!!!!!

    What if Mufasa survived hmm.

  • This is the most powerful soundtrack a Disney movie ever had. This whole track is the best

  • "I...killed...Mufasa."

  • I think I especially love the music when Simba announces his return, then when he leaps on Scar after learning that he had been innocent about his father's death after all these years, and then comes the start of the battle between the lions and hyenas. The music is also very epic when Simba spots Scar and chases him to the top of Pride Rock.

  • @mannardme I always wondered how old Simba was in the film. The other Disney films directly state the age of its main characters (both Ariel, Aurora and Jasmine were 16, Aladdin was 18, the Beast/Prince Adam was 21...), but they never state Simba's age. Here is my bet: he was 10 when he was exiled from the Pride Lands, and 20 when he returned.

  • @Sparfregundo I guess, unless you go by lion years.

  • Why didn't Hans Zimmer do the Harry Potter films???

  • leave it to hanz zimmer to involve you in what is actualy going on in a movie, his music is simply put brilliant and his use of it is powerfull, who didnt feel as though they were on pride rock with him in the final scene

  • Oh, Simba. You're in trouble again. But this time, Daddy's not here to save you... And now everyone knows WHY!

  • @saharaxwolfie Now, this looks familiar, hmmm, let's see... oh yes! This is just how your father looked before he died. And here's MY little secret: I... killed... Mufasa.

  • lion king #1 movie of all time! :)

  • lion king #1 movie of all time! :)

  • 0:57 Simba's back BIOTCH!!!

  • 2:58 Muderer!!!! When Scar interrogated Simba it was so intense. Memories.....

  • "oh no, they called him the pig"

  • 2:25 is possibly my favorite part of the whole score, yet it only plays for 3 seconds of the movie

  • @richestrich95 me too, its the reason i love this song

  • oww i had all that theme songs when i was young and i lost the tape XD but well you have all of them here and modified that the ones i had good video ;)

  • No wonder I loved the music in this movie so much! It was Hans Zimmer?? Man, that guy has the golden touch!!

  • Did you know that the Lion King will be re-released in theaters for two weeks in 3D starting September 16, 2011? I'm going to see it in 3D!

  • We may never see another true Disney movie. All the art, passion, craftsmanship, heart and soul has long since walked out the door. :(

  • Hans Zimmers score for the Lion King is easily on my list of favorite film scores along with his Gladiator score, Howard Shores Lord of the Rings score, Trevor Jones's Dark Crystal one, Micheal Nymans Gattaca one, Javier Navarrete's Pans Labyrinth music, The Fifth Element soundtrack by Eric Serra and John Williams Harry Potter, Star Wars and Jurassic Park scores.

  • i dont get how those 4 ppl can dislike this video

  • @musicalsrawesome6 hyenas xD

  • @DocGerbilzWorld definitely :P

  • @musicalsrawesome6 Some people think that by disliking good videos they can make people decide against watching it for their own personal reasons. It's a lame concept, but people do actually do that haha

  • @xKISSfan4lifex ya that is very stupid i agree with u :P

  • Hans Zimmer was a genius!! One of greatest film composers of all time!!

  • Hans Zimmer = Emperor of Music

  • Oh fuck me, God this is so brilliant...

  • I loved this part of the movie. The cruelty of Scar left--I don't mean when he died, I mean when Simba helped his mother after Scar hit her, because the kindness and decency that had been missing came back with Simba.

Thank you for uploading these songs!

  • Hans Zimmer ♥

  • "Please dont eat me..."

    "Drop em"

    "Hey... whos the pig?"

    "Are you talkin to me?"

"Uh oh. they called him the pig"

    "Are you talkin to ME?"

    "Shouldnt have done that"

    "ARE YOU TALKIN TO ME?"

    "Now they're in for it"

"They call me..... MR. PIG.. AHHHH!!"

  • I ALWAYS get the chills just listening to this

  • Lmao because I've listened to this I really want to watch the move and play the super nintendo game of Lion King :D

  • lion king was always my fav disney movie and also my fav movie of all time and still is i know the whole lines of the movie :D

  • "They call me MIS - TER PIG! AAAAAAAAAAAAARGH!"

  • TLK is an ultimate masterpiece...not just in animation but just as a movie it's a masterpiece.

  • LONG LIVE THE GREATEST COMPOSER OF ALL TIME

  • Wow, I didn´t know Hans Zimmer made the OST for The Lion King. o.o

  • 2:15-3:18 <3

  • reminds me of a downed dragon.

  • i love this movie from when i was childrern to today... 23 years old with whiclds nad womans... wich are not hear this movie......i hate my countrie Bulgaria

  • You should not hate a former communist country

  • @fakii i went to see this in 1994 and i was bout 9 at the time

  • ''Mister Pig!!!!!''

  • thank you for posting them i always love TLK :D

  • The best villains in ANY form of entertainment are never too barbaric.... they never go "IMMA GONNA KILL YOU AND.... AND IT'LL HURT!!!!"

They're always the ones who are like, *sticks pinky to corner of mouth* "Oh, I'm going to exterminate you, now... however, I'm going to be ever so sophisticated and refined as I do it."

  • @TheRandomDamsel

I tend to agree, however when used properly the raw force of sheer mindless evil does have its power.

  • 4:38 Rafiki - RWAAAAAAAGHH!!! XD

  • awesome soundtrack. Reminds me of a horror movie from 2:57 :b

  • 4:14

  • Comment removed

  • I love the menacing flutes at 2:26-2:38... the scene just leaks Scar's pure evil......O.O

  • @TheRandomDamsel It also sounds eerily like the opening hymn "Dies Irae" which talks about the final judgment, where the sinners get cast into Hell. And, if you recall, at this point there are flames surrounding Pride Rock, making it very hellish indeed.

  • @wayne62682 dies irae from wich composer??

  • @Phersephoie It's a chant. Search "Dies Irae" and it's the one that says either "Gregorian Chant" or just "Dies Irae". With the first couple lines it has the same rythm as the "menacing flutes" from 2:26

  • 6:39.

"Run. Run away, Scar. And never return."

  • "All right, all right! I did it..."

    "So they can hear you..."

    "I KILLED MUFASA!!!"

  • I want to score for video games and films in the near future!

  • hey i think maniac isn`t that wrong...

when i think of murderes persons like jossif stalin, adolf hitler and george w. bush are coming to my mind, too...

just my own opinion, and no, i don´t compare bush to hitler ;)

  • neither do i. Bush was corrupt, but hitler was a monster

  • this piece is beautiful!

  • "Here's my secret ... I killed Mufasaaaaa" NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO 3:45

  • MURDERER!!!!! XD

  • 2:25 is reminiscent of the opening to the hymn Dies Iraes

  • @wayne62682 oh shit i'd never noticed that - but it is the same melody.

  • @maniac989 Where the hell did you came up with that? >:O

  • One of the best films I've ever seen!! And I love the score, although it is widely taken from classical pieces such as Mozarts Ave Verum Corpus. Still, my favourite film score of all time!!

  • at 3:00 :O :O :O I LOVE THIS <3

best disney cartoon movie ever <3

  • 2:57 Murderer!

    This movie is epic.

  • a w e s o m e 5/5

  • 2:25

Scar: "Ah, so you haven't told them your little secret!"

love it, this movie has the best score ever written

  • Gives me chills every time

  • I don't think it was walt disney's dream for stuff like disney channel to rule over his original creations :/

  • This is one of the best disney's films.. I love it!! And the soundtrack's fantastic... Hans Zimmer is GREAT! In my head I see film's scenes when I listen to this music......

  • there will never be a better soundtrack

  • there will never be a better disney movie!

  • @sofymo and it's a pity that Disney hasn't been able to capture my heart with another... Well... Tarzan was okay, but... That wasn't nearly as Epic as this! This one brings me to tears if I let myself fully feel the music and then it enraptures me with a joy so pure...

  • @sofymo I liked pirates of the caribbean more but we can just say its not a disney movie.. there will never be a better disney movie!

  • @bookercreator oh i LOVE pirates with my life but yeah most people classify real DISNEY movies as the animated ones!:)

  • This music would be perfect for the ending of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.

  • YESSSSSS

  • @dmc97ingc asdg you are so right :D

  • @dmc97ingc true, but the second part of this would be even better, especially the epic battle and victory scenes

  • Makes me think so simba :)

  • As a musician I would definitely like to even look at the score, hearing it, is such an experience itself, I love Disney so much it's ridiculous, and I seriously would love to be part of the ensemble that plays this music, and only the Renaissance era(everything from Little Mermaid to Tarzan)

  • Timon and Pumba's Theme's epic as heard in 5:22 and 4:26. Yes that is their original theme, you here it when they bowl for buzzards.

  • 3:42- "And here's my little secret: I KILLED MUFASA! (flashback) "NOOOOOOOOOOOO, MURDERER!"

  • i normaly like the bad guys, because they can be really goofy, and are normaly cool - but scar. he is the evilist bad guy ever. i think it really hits you when he is standing at the edge of the cliff, and just watching. really evil. i don't even like mufasa that much, but...

  • You forget that EVIL dude in the huncheback of Notre Dame! (forgot his name) Practily burning Paris to the ground just becouse he want that girl (Esmeralda?) so bad.... THAT way....

But, yea... Scar is the DEVIL! (In "Be prepared" backwards it acctually sounds like he is saying " I'm satan motherf*cker" xD)

  • really?! i'm going to HAVE to watch that now!

  • his name is Frollo

  • Thank you! =)

  • @somenoob4 His name is Frollo, lol

  • @SaphieKitsu wow... you read my 6 months old comments? xD

ya I know, just forgot at the time. Thanks anyway

  • Banzai: Hey, who's the pig? Pumbaa: Ya talkin' to me? Timon: Uh-oh! You called him a pig. Pumbaa: (angrier) Are you talking to me? Timon: Shouldn't have done that. Pumbaa: (loud and even angrier) Are you talking to me?! Timon: Now, there in for it. Pumbaa: (slowly) They call me MR. PIG!!! (screams as he charges at everyone) Take that, you stupid! Timon: Take that, and that! (hyena trio runs away from Timon and Pumbaa) Pumbaa: Whoo! Run, ya yellow-bellied...! All: Whoo, whoo, whoo, whoo!
  • that would be around 5:09 lol

    THEY CALL ME MIS-TER PIIIIGG!

    AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHH!!

  • @fireslam23 Hahaaha!!! You even put in the "whoo whoo whoo whoots" XD

  • Favorite Disney movie. Ever.

  • same here

  • very epic.

Hans Zimmer and Howard Shore are my favorite film composers.

  • dont forget John Williams !

  • yeh hes pretty cool too! I love his Jurassic Park score.

  • 3:00 Proper hits me. I love this!

  • Did you know the first movie was simular to Hamlet anf the second one was simular to Romeo + Juliet

I LOVE THIS MOVIE, I remember being a little baby and watching this at the movies

  • For some reason 3:18-3:26 really appeals to me. ..

    Hm.

  • It would be great to upload a version with higher quality! :D

  • Hey! Everyone who listens to TLK score!!! I was thinking that I should upload a newer version of it with much higher quality audio. I was just wondering if any of you would want that...

  • I would verulence!

  • Fuck yes

  • yes please :D

  • of course i want that

  • @verulence Yes, yes please! :)

  • @verulence Er, unless you already did...I just noticed your comment was posted a year ago...sorry! :)

  • @verulence i think that a good idea . i would like 2 hear that . u did a great job of cleaning up the audio so we have the music 2 listen 2 and enjoy.

  • lol I saw Bolt xD

that film was funny nothing more ,just the beginning but then later it started to get boring about 10 minutes after they found the hamster. After all this film was stupid and just weird :/

  • What does that have to do witrh Lion King? ♥♥♥♥I love this film and it reminds me of the epcot fire works♥♥♥♥

  • One or two themes do sort of nod to Mozart and his greatness but I think of it more as "inspired by" than ripped off".

  • @verulence Ah really? Like... Which parts? O:

  • RFZT i feel the same about that part of the song....gives me the creeps...but in a good way

  • 1:07 to 1:13 reminds of mufasas death

  • i'm 20! lion king was the first movie for me to see in movies. Beauty and the beast was my first disney overall (vhs) but i dont get it though. If disney sees how many people want the 90's style movies back why wont they do it? I bet there would be more money it it too cos not only kids would watch it but also people from my generation

  • It's true... So many people want the old style. I guess they don't think the money to produce a better film is worth it even thoguh they would get alot more people to see it... I don't understand

  • Well the good news is that they're making a 2-D movie, "The Princess and the Frog", and if it's successful, then maybe they'll make movies the way they used to.

  • really that's awesome! i miss the 2d movies, they were so great, especially the lion king, it's the best of them all. the crappy 3d movies are so bad now, they have no message. the lion king is full of fantastic messages of life. man i really hope 2d comes back, those were the good days...

  • Up! Disagrees with you. It's a fantastic 3D movie that's very original and actually has a lot of content in terms of plot and family lessons.

That said, I do love the classic movies like Lion King and such.

  • I agree *nods*

The older 2-D movies of Disney had such great meaning.....

I wish they would do more movies like the lion king (( not with the same plot, but you know what i mean XD))

  • you know what wonders me about disney's thinking? they keep releasing movies that WILL NOT be classics as all those 90's movies were (most of) while millions of people are willing to pay money to see those 2d epic style movies instead of crappy scoreless comedies. Not only maybe more kids/teens would watch it, but people from my generation as well. (20's and around that)

  • I'm 13 and i must say if you show it to a child he'll say :Fuck present day disney!

P.S:I was 3 when i first watched it

  • I'm 15 and even /I/ don't like the more recent disney... though I won't lie, I watch them hoping a good movie /might/ happen. No such luck. It's not nessec..arily..? the score-lacking, but more of the originality-lacking of the new movies. Not to mention classics are just awsome in general...

  • God bless you for uploading the score

  • mmm, i want to buy this CD, but i can't find it anywhere...not even on the internet XD

  • It doesn't exist. *sad*

  • yes, the soundtrack was released in 1994.

  • The limited 1994 release does exist, but not this complete score (its a bootleg). *laments with you*

  • yeah, sorry my bad.

  • 5:51 onwards best bit(: x x x

  • I agree with you; that whole segment really ominous and mighty.

  • MR. PIG!!! lol

  • This music is probably the best ever made !

  • This is so epic. I love it!

  • Good old disney sound tracks... beautiful

  • i found the same torrent except it wasnt in two parts like yours XD

  • every....single....time....without fail, shivers down my spine

  • Hans Zimmer has made all of my favorite soundtracks. Before I know it is him, I know it is him.

  • The Lion King has such good music! I especially love from 2:15 on.

  • Amen!

  • 3:41-

    "And here's my little secret...

    I. Killed. Mufasa."

  • See.. Everyone knows lines from the lion king! =)

  • Hell yeah!

  • I can hear his voice in my head saying that line...exactly the way it was in the movie. After all these years. It's awesome.

  • Amazing music........thank you so much.....

  • The best soundtrack ever. Thanks =)

  • I give you OVER 9000 thanks for posting this!

  • wonderful music to an wonderful movie.

I think, radio emissions should bring more of Lion King.

    Good classical music

  • 3.18, lol, very unexpected:P

  • where did you get these?

  • Ye Olde Interwebz

  • Is this available on iTunes?

  • i dont know maybe
