I remember having standing room only tickets, having to climb 89 stairs to the second balcony, and the beer man waiting for me at the top of the stairs with my prize.

Blackhawk goal on the Powerplay. His 46th the of the season . . . . scored my #27 Jeremy Roenick. Assisted by number #7 Chris Chelios & #30 Ed Belfour.
I remember listening to this on 780 as a then 13 year old. We're finally back. I can't wait for April. If the Hawks actually made it back to the Cup Finals, Chicago would be beside itself. This team is good enough to do so.
i can't believe that the hawks are still recovering after tearing this place down more than 10 years later. with them trying to phase out the organ and other traditions even more this year, it shows that management still doesn't get it.
Actually, with the passing of Dollar Bill, Rocky is bringing things back. We can see all of our home games on TV again and the stadium is selling out every game. There was an article in the Tribune about how they have realized that the fans miss the Organ, and therefore they have phased it back in. The management may not get it all still, but they are moving in the right direction.
This video though is such an awesome rendition of the Roar and the Anthem. Love it!
This is still my best memory out of all the games I've seen. Was a season ticket holder for 20 years. Just hope someday we can make the UC rock like this.
The anthem was incredible, the fans outside the arena was awsome and amazing. WOW, can't wait for opening night, in case you guys don't know, during the hawks convention, it was announced wayne messmer is invited to sing the anthem whenever he wishes, and is sheduled to sing the anthem at wrigley field for the winter classic
I always wanted to go to the BEST arena in Sports...There was NO...Atmosphere Quite like The STADIUM!!..I'm from philadelphia and I LOVED THE STADIUM...best place to listen to a game on WBBM...back in the late 80's before too many stations and couldn't hear it
It's too bad they don't build arenas like this anymore. Nowadays we need to have large seats, wide hallways ,lots of consession stands and corporate suites to satisfy the fat, ADD suffering americans. All you need is a good hockey game, a beer and a hotdog.Lets Go Islanders!!

I dunno....if you could put a Playoff team in the United Center and put 21,000 SCREAMING RABIES-INFESTED CHICAGO SPORTS FANS IN IT and WAYNE MESSEMER SINGING THE NATIONAL ANTHEM and A FUCKING ORGAN THAT SCARES THE BEJEEZUS OUT OF ANYONE NOT PAYING ATTENTION!!!
I am in agreement man. Amen. But, you took our Cup in 1992. It still hurts but at least you know about Pat and Wayne. That means your a hockey fan and someone I respect.
