@adorebeauty0 I've given up on nokia now, so my information may be out of date.

As far as I know you can download apps from the store on your phone, or you can install them via sisx, but you can't download from the store on your computer.

@carbonised1000 Once you have the phone connected as I showed in the video... go to tools, then connect to internet. if it doesn't work your contract may not support tethering. or, you could use Joikuspot from the ovi store

3 days ago i went to to intercool nokia agent

i asked him about ovi program and maps he said your phone already has it and not recommended to download or update from the internet

so is it recommended to update ??

@corvette4554 Whether you have the most up-to-date version depends on when you got your phone and what system updates you have.

I can see no harm, however, in downloading the latest if availible.

I don't really know... seems like a malfunction in the cable, phone or computer.

Firstly, to test if the computer's hardware is the problem, try plugging in a computer peripheral into the same port to see if it works.

Then, to test if the phone's the problem, try using another nokia phone with the same setup.

To test the cable, try to find another Micro USB cable.

If you find changing something has made it work, you have to replace it.

@gazzza92 Either open it with the Ovi suite when the phone is connected, or transfer it to your phone via USB, browse to it using the phone's file manager and open it.

how long does it take usually to setup your phone to ovi? I stopped it when mine took over one hour.
