  • Sweet!I'll be getting mine in may! Can't wait!

  • wow your sonics are really cool!

have you considred making a masters laser screwdriver because that would be relly cool!

  • So... are there any more of these for sale? I'd totally buy one.

  • @Xearf They have been superceded by the Aztec and the Ultimate Editions.

  • @celestialtoystore Okay. Is there a Web site?

  • @Xearf Google Celestial Toystore.

  • @celestialtoystore Nevermind, I found the Web site.

  • The reason it's 300 pounds, is because it took so much money to manufacture these badboys. Compared to the MFX sonic, these are easily the greatest doctor who replicas of all time...and space. Besides, you only have to buy it once, this is the coolest thing ever to to hit the DW fanbase...but these guys are right. I know your stressed out and everything, but don't get furious at imbociles. Peace.

  • @riakon The fact that they are all 'sold out' gives your answer.

  • can you please gime one for free

  • I say good on you! You made this by hand thats fucken awesome!!! Easily worth 300 so why the hell not!?!?

  • This is very cool; can you tell me where you got your materials from?

  • i understand the troubles of a starting company, but over $300?

  • @VID3OBlender Tell you what buddy. You blueprint and CNC a screen accurate sonic screwdriver for less and I'll forgive your ill-informed and frankly stupid remarks. Deal?

  • @celestialtoystore ok, instead of getting pissy and frustrated like most of your inquireing customers do after being insult by you, i'm just gonna give you advice. 1. i understand you get frustrated with all the questions, (even though most are valid) but if you go out for publicity, publicity is what you'll get. 2.instead of wasting both of our time writing that ever so witty response, why not gain a few desperatly needed points and answer the question. 3. i don't know exactly why you are...

  • @VID3OBlender so angry at your customers, but think of what position you are in: you are a relatively new company, with few but expensive products, and you are not too well known. should you really be that bitchy to the few people actually willing to pay for your overpriced tv prop?

    - Gabriel RS

  • @VID3OBlender You've obviously missed the point entirely about what I am doing and why I am doing this. I suggest you put your brain into a suitable gear, do some research before making judgements about me and my products. Simple enough to understand? Now fuck off.

  • @celestialtoystore Someone's mad. What a shitty quality video to be showing off potential merchandise.

  • @Riakon Are you some kind of fucking cunt? Hasn't hurt my sales though so shut the fuck up you dickhead

  • @celestialtoystore You are such an angry person this is incredible. Go watch more Doctor who with your shitty chin chong subs because you can't understand English hahahaha.

  • @Riakon You really some kind of simpleton. Fuck off, peasant.

  • Does the light work when your moving it up and down?

  • oh man. i had to comment again because this is SO COOL!

  • i have a question, is there any difference between the season 1-2 and the 3-4 sonic screwdrivers? is so, is there any chance you might make a season 3-4 version, or is the difference so small it wouldn't be worth it? thanks if you respond.

  • @telephone33333 The season 1 screwdriver was actually a lot smaller and fragile. When character options presented their version of the toy it was discovered to by far more robust than the real prop, the BBC eventually got their hands on the moulds for the toy and eventually used them from series 2 onwards. The only difference is a slight change in size, the series 2 and onwards screwdriver being 1.5 times bigger. I don't think there is any difference between 3-4 aside from it being a new prop.

  • @telephone33333 the season 1-2 has a really big slider and has noise but 3-4 has a thin slider and does not make noise

  • what material is it made out of?

  • @knight7fox2 Very rare metal. It's called Unobtanium.

  • @celestialtoystore why would you use a such precious metal for a prop ;)

  • @knight7fox2 Because I'm worth it

  • yeah, unobtanium...MY ARSE!

  • @mittensthesnipercat Glad you got the joke

  • @celestialtoystore I obtained one XD

  • when will it be selled?

    it lookes real good

  • On sale now and yes, it does look really good.

  • So the black cap IS removable! Good show! I still think you could try and fit something under there, maybe if you offered an extended bit for modifications. I'd totally buy that and convert it into a real phillip's screwdriver!

  • CAN YOU SELL AN UPPAINTED ONE ?

  • Yes

  • how much?

  • £200 + shipping

  • Ah, thought I spotted a difference on the ridges in BBC publicity photos, but didn't notice the change in head. Your attention to detail is incredible & thats why this is a quality product. I look forward to the comparisons & Spy shots on your blog (other info on this has been V useful) Oh but which one to buy though as like the colour & look of season 1/2 but prefer the slider on 3/4! Still undecided until I see both ... unless you could do a mix of the two for me for a few pounds extra! ;-)

  • Cant stop coming back to look at this, it brilliant. Love the way the slider clicks into place when extended and back again when closed, & all with sound! My mate with the MFX sonic is not happy ;-) QUESTION: Will the season 3/4 be exactly the same apart from the slim slider button? Only asking as the ridges on this look far better than the TV or MFX models for the Season 3/4 Sonic!

  • The season 3/4 may look the similar but it only shares three parts with this. The body ridges are slightly differently shaped and the head has a minute step removed and obviously the slider plate.

  • Looks totally brillant worthy of the Doctor himself. Just wondering when will the prototype for the season 3-4 be shown?

  • by 14th February. Not long now! Might put some spyshots up on the blog if I have time

  • This is soooooooo perfect! These clips show just how good a craftsman you are and well worth the wait. Please let me know when they are ready to ship. I'm a fan of the season 3-4 version (I like the sleeker slider button) will that be ready at the same time? If not I dont think I can wait, & may have to grab one of these instead. Toymaker you have done us proud. You are dah man!

  • You got that right Straker. Getting this sonic right has taken over my life. All this just to prove a point.....

  • And a point certainly IS being proven.

  • Yes indeed. That being I can achieve what MFX and CO couldn't do: produce a screen accurate metal sonic with working sound and light, running on lower voltages than the CO toy and produce it for less than MFX did. Makes you wonder who should have got the licence doesn't it?

  • Oh yes! it's brilliant! It actually looks really nice even unpainted XD It really is great to see a first production version completed too.

Question though, is the button holder there also solid brass?

Can't wait to get one CT! ^_^ Let me know when you'll be ready to ship and I'll save the cash and send it right away.

  • Yes, the button is solid brass!

  • You've out dune yourself, CT! This really is a beautiful piece!

  • ...I'm wet. XD So this is why I haven't seen you online in awhile, eh CT? Great job, mate!

  • I want 1

  • Can I just mention that the head also dismantles and can be unscrewed into it's component parts: something the MFX does not do. I haven't done it here as it would mean fucking up the wiring of the LED, but just so you know.
