  • is your fuel pump turned up?

  • sorry I didn't know you were across the pond

  • @Troyisbig I'm living in europe (The Netherlands) There are not much of those 4620 around here. A few w/o cab but not with cab like mine.

  • Hi my dad has a 4620 and someone told him that it doesn't have live power. I told him they've had live power since the old two cylinder days. Can you shed any light on it?

  • @Troyisbig What do you mean with live power? My English is not very good so try to explain please.

  • what is the engine????

    sex cylinder turbodiesel?????

  • @Domin902

Yes it is a 6,6Liter (6406 cubic inch) 6 cilinder turbo intercooler engine. This was the first engine what John Deere has build with intercooler.

  • @Domin902

Sorry I made a mistake. I mean its the 6404 engine not 6406

  • The Power of green...!!!!! (^_^)

  • man i love it gear head farmer just like me ha ha

  • is that the stock turbo whistling like that?

  • Yes, the whistling sound is the original turbo.

  • Very nice Tractor.... a Legend. What Gearbox does it has?

  • Hi Sam,

Yes it sure is an nice tractor. It has a synchro range gearbox, no powershift. Look at youtube under John Deere 4620 tractorpulling montfort, tractorpulling gulpen and you will find some nice video's from the season 2009.

By the way: I've talk with your brother at the Europull Bakel 2009. Ask him. I'm sure he still knows who I am.

  • Ive Gotta 1972 powershift.. with the original quick attach .. just made a video ill have it up soon

  • got a love that deep roar of a deere

  • nice sound :-D

  • It's allowed to use a diff lock but I don't have one on the 4620. Normally I don't need it, Both wheels are spinning then. Only on very bad and wet undergrounds (like on the movie you've seen) it needs a diff lock

I've seen your 4320 and 8630. Both very nice tractors!! Where in Canada do you live?

  • sorry i meant 20.8 38 tires and i got some of them on my 6030 too and my 5020 has some fat ass tires on it and its got duals theres gotta be 8 feet wide of rubber touchin the ground i dont pull with em i just work em as farm tractors

  • your killin me you cant jsut let it idle there get out and rip up some dirt make it work burn all the crud out od engine that idling has put in hahaha

  • man i got some 20.4 38's on my 78' 8630 and it will pull a cultivator though mud and barley spin one bit but she wheighs around 26000 lbs

  • Yes I use it for tractor pulling. My best result was 2nd place. I have yo change a few thing for the season of 2009. Search under John Deere 4620 and you will find a video from one of my pulls.

  • does it have a differential lock? and are you allowed to use these at tractor pulls?

  • Do you take it to any tractor pulls? I bet it would make a strong pull.

  • These tyres are 710/70 R38. (71cm wide)

  • theres the beef!! are those tires 24.5x32?
