I think they were all in shock,and if somebody is screaming as for sure this mother would have done, you might not think it good to offer comfort right way,I do understand how you mean it though for I think like you that had I been there I would have run up to be close to her and not just stand,but I think it happened so fast, what we see actually happened in a few seconds time,only to us it seemed enless, I am so reliefed that this child´s life was protected and it is safe!!

As a father, If it was me, I would put the trolley at the side of me with my leg touching it. Accidents do happen but also as a health and safety rep I also believe in looking at every possible link to dangers, its called dynamic assessing What can happen will happen. Just glad babys ok And hope moms ok as well cant be easy after something like that
