Airline food on Economy always taste like shit. Also hate the infomercial Continental plays in the start. If you bought the ticket already why advertise. The determining factor in you flying with them again, is that do good job not that waste your time with saying that will be doing a good job. Anyways flying with them in May from Aalborg (Denmark) to Denver. Like that they shifted to Star Alliance so that you now can get the regional leg with an European Alliance partner in the same ticket.
i like continetal airlines but i thought there economy food was dreadful but they do do cheap flights. there food was terrible compared to air canadas.
i fly continental everytime i go from denver to guatemala, and it's the best airline. their people is the best, and they are so caring. i remember when all airlines stopped giving food to flyers, continental did not, and their food even on coach is great. i said a prayer for them because it really broke my heart to see such an airline do that for their customers. that's why i will only fly continental, for their care to their customers, even in hard times
i flew SNN-EWR last year!!!! it was amazing. They seem to be so in love with there jobs(cabin crew). please come to ireland and support this service!!!!!
Sad thing is that the 757-200 does not have the ETOPS certification form the FAA, but yet Continental continues to fly the 757 on transatlantic routes, pushing it range and limits to near breaking, the 757 WAS NOT designed by Boeing to be a long range airliner, it is a short to medium range airliner. One of these days Continental is going to find out the tragic way, that by trying to save and use smaller planes not designed for the job they will be forced to use a widebody.
That is untrue. 757-200's powered by either Rolls Royce or Pratt & Whitney engines have had 180 minute ETOPS certification from the FAA since the early 1990's. The Boeing 757-200 is an ideal aircraft for this mission.
Yea , ive heard about the 757 and its limited range etc but it truelly is a magnificant aircraft. I think its fully capable flying acrosst the atlantic , otherwise i wouldnt be flying with Continental for the 4th time :)
its history, Continental cancelled the flights between Cologne and New York-Newark at the 3th of September 2008. But also the flight were full in the summer, unbeleavible. Its not a problem to fly over the Atlantic with an B 757.
the 757 is one of the most wonderful aircraft made, famous for its lowspeed approach and short runways capablity, its a magnificient aircraft, sadly it is no build any more,757 is a history, any airbus aircraft, would have ever!!! its clear..ok i hope soo!
Here at continental we try our best to provide you with an excellent service. It is true that we use 757-200 for transatlantic flights and 757-300s are used on domestic flights. Winglets are retrofitted on all the 757s and some 737s for fuel efficiency. Thanks for flying continental.. and thanks for this video.
continental is my favorit airliner i fly always with continetal when i go to the us its by far the best airliner the introduction video speaks by far the true its the best and will stay the best
Ditto, at least as far as legroom goes. I couldn't believe how cramped the B747 I flew from EDDF To KBOS in October 2006 was. My German friends have the same complaints but tell me that planes in their domestic fleet tend to be roomier.

Nice video bud, this was business first or coach?
risewiththelive1 2 years ago
i would assume its coach, hes directly next to the engine. First consumes around the first 8 rows on Continental's 757's. But yes, this is coach.
