But eventually Smogon apparently changed the way the world spins and everyone follows, and it fell to NU. Hera in UU is a joke. He was once a top-5 most deadly OU threat and its not like he got worse. Perhaps he isn't a top-5 threat any more, but that doesn't mean he suddenly sucks now either.

@mtgxerxes Nope, I agree, I usually just do NU but I have battled a ton of OUers and in E-lo's live feed last night I was talking to frosty and Kwandao, they said they rarely see hera anymore so that is why it was dropped. I use only Kantos cause old skool but if I used a diff region I would go hera to effing pwn everyone. Straight up own. I wonder if cress goes UU then it will someday be pushed NU since hera in UU is a HUGE threat to cress, Megahorn is just super good even with Cress's defense.

The reason Clef had the toxic orb was to be immune to status, use Facade (so use toxic rather than burn), and Don't forget Magic Guard, it takes no damage from extra effecs such as poison and sandstorm.

You got it wrong, burn cuts attack, poison doesn't. That's why Facade Clefables always use toxic orbs instead of flame orbs. Look it up if you don't believe me, burn cuts attack, poison doesn't.

Hate to be a stick in the mud, but W/L means nothing....due to D/Cs, unknown quality of opponents, (back in the day) you could "win/lose" an IV battle and I have a few of those each...

and I played a LOT of noobs in the early days, It's listed as 151-18-2 but thats not accurate of skill level or anything. Prolly only 40-60 of those games were good players in which I would guess 30-50W 12L 2T

Clefable has Toxic Orb because it's a Physifable. It's supposed to Protect on first turn (¬.¬) for Toxic Orb to activate, skyrocketing Facade's power which is its primary STAB move. Pretty gimmick, but nice.

But in a nutshell, both players have random pokemon chosen for them to use, and you see how the match plays out. It allows use of lots of new stuff, and takes any seriousness out of the game to just make it fun instead. You see a lot of novelty stuff in Roulette too

Clefable had the toxic orb because of its ability, Magic Guard. It makes only, direct attack moves hit. So toxic wont affect it. And while its poisoned it is immune to all other status problems.

The 'Fable in the beginning was the Physi-Fable, made famous by our own Disfunction. Fable@Toxic Orb, Facade, Belly Drum, Meteor Mash, Moonlight/Softboiled/Wish. Belly Drum maxes attack, obviously, while Toxic Orb gives more power to Facade, and thanks to MG, you don't take the damage each turn. If you can pull it off, it's beastly. You get walled by Steels, but, meh. You'll still dent 'em. =P

Up to you man. Depends on their movesets and EV spreads and what your goals are with the team. Some people like more tnaks, some like more sweepers. Judge what pokes threaten you more and what types you'd want to cover better

Err. Clafable's Magic Guard allows it to not take damage from "indirect attacks" meaning it's awesome Status fodder.

At least that's what I believe works.

Returns max is 102. I think you're adding STAB for return and not for Facade in your calculation. Unless Facade doesn't get STAB when it's condition is fufilled or something odd like that?

I said 140 on Facade didn't I.....damn I mixed up Guts and STAB. Clefable doesn't have Guts but yeah the Facade doubles to 140 and gets STAB on it. It was just the guts I'm missing then.
