  • what a noble work, I wish I could financially help.

  • there is a special place in heaven for you both, bless you for the wonderful work you are doing.

  • Can you VISIT the santcuary? It's like 2 hours away and I would lik to know if I could vist to see the animals. And before anyone says it, yes i realize it's not a zoo. I do not want to pass up a chance to see these animals relativly free. (I know I can't spell and the keyboard sometimes leaves out letters.)

  • I think it is closed to visitors.

  • no, you can't. the only way you can is if you become a special memeber and pay about $2,000 a year for a few years. then you get a special tour. or, you can work as an elephant caregiver there. (that's what i want to do :) )

  • hey, i am looking for a world like that, because in here is sick, very evil world, full of pain, racism, poverty, ignorance and i think people that have the capacity of seeing these things of no evil, just see this relationship of yours and your elephants, and your dogs etc, thanks for this little things that make me feel that there is real humans, not beasts like the rest of us. full of stupidity and drugs. and indifference.. HELP. i don't need a social worker, i need real humans, civilized

  • I'm watching one of the girls right now on the EleCam. She's swishing her trunk around in the pond. I hope she'll go in!

You all need to reach deep and offer monitary support. Face it, it costs a fortune to keep the fruit and veggies comin' for these sweeties. And think of the vet bills and the cost of new land, fencing and those beautiful elebarns. Sponsor your favorite....right NOW!!!

ps....she's just starting to climb in the pond! What a DOLL!!!!!!

  • What an awesome thing ya'll do for theses elephants with such horrible pasts! These are gentle and intelligent animals that deserve all ya'll do for them. THANK YOU for everything you guys do!

Thank you SKY for sending it to me :))))

    Love,TinaXxX

  • I have been a fan of The Elephant Sanctuary for several years. Every morning the first thing I do is check in and see what is new. I check the Elecam and the news at the sancturary. I also pop in throughout the day, everyday! I cannot live without the Eles. Such majestic creatures and such wonderful people. The sanctuary is definately my "feel good" moment throughout the day. I thank Carol and Scott and all that care for these amazing creatures, they deserve all that is good in life.

  • I have always loved elephants. They are so intelligent and gentle. They are great parents, too. Thank you Carol and Scott.

  • Thank you for all that you do for these gentle creatures. I intend to become a donor and regular supporter of your efforts. I can't think of a better way to honor these wonderful beings than to personally support your efforts. There are no words that can express how I feel when I see these beauties enjoying their lives FINALLY! A thousand THANK YOUs wouldn't be enough! Be blessed, all of you!

  • I love this video. It must be the greatest feeling in the world to bring new elephants there and watch them taste freedom and peace for the first time.

I'm glad you're there to do your good work. Thank you!

  • In that last 10 seconds you can hear Tarra barking :-) I love her calls! It's amazing what you do for these gentle creatures. These animals just living it up and having the time of their lives always brings a smile to my face. This is exactly how it should be.

  • Kudos and a million thank yous!

  • With the news story about Jenny the elephant in Dallas possibly being transported to Africam in Mexico, and the organization of individuals trying to stop that, I learned about The Elephant Sanctuary, which I had never heard of. I am an instant fan! What an amazing place. There is no doubt that what we know as "Good Karma" comes directly out of a place like this. Kudos to founders Carol & Scott.

  • Elephant Sanctuary has been my favorite charity for years. I am always so touched by the newsletters, and now these videos. My heart swells with love and respect for these beautiful beings.

****THANK YOU for all you do!!****

  • What a great intro to TES for new members and elephant fans! Love it!

  • I second all the previous comments. Wonderful. Those old gracious beings have certainly paid their dues. Thank you for all that you do.

  • Thank you - Thank you for all you do ! Lost for words here - just so overwhelmed by the elephants and your work !

  • I visit your site everyday and I consider it a good day when I'm able to view one of your elephants via the Elecam. There is something special about elephants that really can't be put into words or explained. I find myself watching them with tearful eyes, feeling moved by simply observing their beauty and strength. Thank you so much for the work that you do, the dedication that it takes to keep things running, and for your compassion for these wonderful creatures!

  • I think that cetaceans and primates have some tough competition when it comes to outsmarting elephants. I think they are the most intelligent of all the animals hands down. Lowest birth-to-adult brain ratio, a brain more complex than ours with just as many neurons (compared with dolphins who have very few) and an emotional life as deep, if not deeper than our own (such as burying the dead, suffering from PTSD) all point to a highly intelligent animal. Go elephants. We can learn a lot from them

  • Extraordinary facility for magnificent creatures. I'm hoping The Elephant Sanctuary can blossom and expand by liberating more elephants. But a special need to educate the public about zoos and circuses is critical to the success of reducing elephant numbers in captivity. Support The Elephant Sanctuary.... you'll be proud to be part of the elephant's lives.

  • I have been a supporter and member for many years. Please join this wonderful organization and follow the elephants' lives....I promise you, your life will never be the same.

  • Excellent introductory video clip.
