Hey, I am having my C1 exam in 2010 Jan, would it be possible to provide some answers for the C1 2009/2008 papers answers if you got some spare time? thank you so much :)
Nicely explained, thanks. It would be great if you could just say the question before hand so people knew exactly what you were answering, otherwise I really liked it.
@ExamSolutions Love your videos but I just don't understand, why does y = 0 for the equation for the asymtopes
15princemalik 2 months ago
@15princemalik y = 0 is the equation of the x-axis. Any point on the x-axis has y-coordinate =0. The graph tends towards the x-axis.

You didn't show the coordinate of the point at which the curve crosses a coordinate axis.

@GreenArrow223 Thanks for that. I have now added an annotation.

How do you find where it crosses the y-axis after the translation.
I see you said 3/2 but how do you find that figure?
MattyEcko 3 years ago
@MattyEcko lol you wont need this now but it's because y = 3/x+2 (Since x = 0 it's just 3/0+2 = 3/2) :D

x does not equal -2, it is an asymptote.

You forgot to show the coordinates of any point at which the curve crosses a coordinate axis.

Thanks for that
It crosses the y-axis when x=0 so y=3/2
