  • @ExamSolutions Love your videos but I just don't understand, why does y = 0 for the equation for the asymtopes

  • @15princemalik y = 0 is the equation of the x-axis. Any point on the x-axis has y-coordinate =0. The graph tends towards the x-axis.

  • good video would be better if i know what really happened & how to do such complex problems

  • OMG THT WAS ONE OF THE MOST CONFUSIN QUESTIONS EDEXCEL COULD HAV EVER COME UP WITH :/

  • You didn't show the coordinate of the point at which the curve crosses a coordinate axis.

  • @GreenArrow223 Thanks for that. I have now added an annotation.

  • @ExamSolutions Np probs man... Btw thanks to your videos I got an A in C1 TYVM!!

  • @GreenArrow223 Excellent - well done.

  • Hey, I am having my C1 exam in 2010 Jan, would it be possible to provide some answers for the C1 2009/2008 papers answers if you got some spare time? thank you so much :)

  • You explain it so well, excellent video 10/10 I think your better than any teacher I've ever had! :)

  • Thanks very much.

  • thankyou so much!

  • my maths exam is on 5th june too, and this really is helpin a lot!!

  • OOOO I HATE GRAPHS :(

  • agreed but he makes it so understandable :) waaay more confident about 5th june <3

  • Nicely explained, thanks. It would be great if you could just say the question before hand so people knew exactly what you were answering, otherwise I really liked it.

  • How do you find where it crosses the y-axis after the translation.

I see you said 3/2 but how do you find that figure?

  • @MattyEcko lol you wont need this now but it's because y = 3/x+2 (Since x = 0 it's just 3/0+2 = 3/2) :D

  • Buh in the question it says x doesn not equl to -2

  • x does not equal -2, it is an asymptote.

  • Are you a teacher from St dominics 6th form college? just asking...you have the same voice of my tutor Patrick Murphy...

  • Nope. Teacher, yes.

  • tHNx alOt! :)

  • You forgot to show the coordinates of any point at which the curve crosses a coordinate axis.

  • Thanks for that

It crosses the y-axis when x=0 so y=3/2

  • man i hate the intro music

  • Could you explain that please :)
