All languages sound strange to those who don't speak them. As an English-speaker myself, I've no doubt that English sounds absolutely bizarre to non-English-speakers, especially when one encounters the multitudes of not only dialects, but of slangs. Best of luck to all who come to America and attempt to learn English! The real Swedish language has always made me believe that Swedish people are very friendly and good-humoured. It just sounds that way. As for the chef, he really is funny!

I am currently a Swedish Graduate Student in Swedish literature, and all I can say is WOW.  How could they get the accent so authentic. I bet the guy who is the voice of the chef grew up in Sweden, his dialect leads me to believe he is most likely from the Öresund Region.
