I heard the other day that the deer hunters of Pensylvania would make up the 4th largest army in the world with over 750,000 registered hunters. I am sure if we got all the hunters from all the states to work together we could secure our borders no problem.

You are not taking into account things like force multipliers. For instance every military in the world has full auto guns. Americans have semi autos. Our military gets it strength not from the amount of guns it has but from the technology. The American military is the most advanced fighting force the world has ever seen. They have the technology to fight in the dark like it is day time. Not to mention they own the air, and don't forget about the heavy armor and artillery.

The problem with your theory is the US military has much better technology then its citizens. How many bullets does it take to stop an Abrams tank, or a tomahawk, or B-52, or AC-130 or a drone. The US military could bomb us into dust while we slept in our cozy beds without troops firing a single bullet. Watch videos of AC-130 missions. One single AC could destroy a small city in a short amount of time..
Nice theories, With the up most respect, I have to disagree. I believe an invasion is probable not possible. A few things to take into consideration. Our own gov is working against us for they in truth work for the bankers that want to see us destroyed. This means that the invasion will not just be small arms but every modern military device available. This includes nuclear weapons, If one lives in NYC I would do almost anything to leave permanently.
This also include neutron bombs and scalar weapons that most have not heard of. The russians were the ones that had the most time to perfect their HAARP system so I would not be surprised if they use it. Two of my mechanic coworkers are Chinese. They're not physically powerful but they get the job done. They both suffered badly during the cold snap while we chained up buses in the cold 17degree wind. I felt fine except my nose was cold.

Wow, thank you for that one! Funny thing here in Oklahoma there isn't a state reg. for fire arm's. If you buy new or from a dealer it's a phone call for a background check. Then it's cash & carry. But, if it's a private party sale there isn't any kind of registry that needs to happen. With that there's no telling for this state but I know it's not a small number.

I think the gravest threat when the dollar collapse later this decade is foreign mercs that will be paid with land. The feds are grabbing lots of land and will give these lands as payments to a multinational merc army. Also guerrilla war is ugly because they would have air power. Lots of people would die. The second threat is when the shtf America become a fragmented warlord state but a multinational army comes to take the nukes. These are two scenario I see of invasion.

You are not taking into account things like force multipliers. For instance every military in the world has full auto guns. Americans have semi autos. Our military gets it strength not from the amount of guns it has but from the technology. The American military is the most advanced fighting force the world has ever seen. They have the technology to fight in the dark like it is day time. Not to mention they own the air, and don't forget about the heavy armor and artillery.

If we were not hyper sensitive to forkin politics things would look more like the invasion campaigns which were brilliant & extremely decisive. We would use starvation as a tool & people would come to us to help set things up & we could put into power exactly who we wanted to & they would dance our jig or get blown to hell again rinse & repeat ... ect..

The problem with your theory is the US military has much better technology then its citizens. How many bullets does it take to stop an Abrams tank, or a tomahawk, or B-52, or AC-130 or a drone. The US military could bomb us into dust while we slept in our cozy beds without troops firing a single bullet. Watch videos of AC-130 missions. One single AC could destroy a small city in a short amount of time..

Nice theories, With the up most respect, I have to disagree. I believe an invasion is probable not possible. A few things to take into consideration. Our own gov is working against us for they in truth work for the bankers that want to see us destroyed. This means that the invasion will not just be small arms but every modern military device available. This includes nuclear weapons, If one lives in NYC I would do almost anything to leave permanently.

If the grid goes down, in one year there may not be enough of us 'alive and healthy' enough defend the country. Patriot Nurse has made a video series on the death tolls and reasons why. Seems to me that all a invading country would have to do is wait a year or so after the collapse and then obtain a beachhead and clean-up. I read somewhere that the Navy would be able to guard our East-West coast for approx. 3 months after the collapse, and then it too would collapse for lack of supplies.

In a full scale war, with the country/economy/government in all out chaos- things would be very different.If our gov't told Texans, for example that it was open season at the border regarding illegals, we would not be having the issues we see today. We have excellent border defenses. For example, in Duluth Mn, there is an award winning Raptor(at least soon) Air Guard.
We the People purchansed enough weapons in one year alone, to create the worlds 4th largest army.
There are "depots" in about every city across America. (don't forget about em, just in case you need to "help out")
Vets are everywhere, and hold about every position; and I would still take me a squad of deer hunters over many...

The worry is not about mass invasion from an 'enemy', but in the same manner as Palestine was taken; it's an old recipe.
1) Move masses of people that can be used to hold land into the target area.
2) Create and support these 'minority groups' as the rest of the unknowing 'troops' are moved. (Jews were moved under threat of death, Latins via HUNGER/Jobs)
3) Trigger a revolution w C&C/media using one set of 'troops' against the other until the correct number of survivors remain 2 do work.

You're also assuming those 80 million registered gun owners are able bodied and trained individuals. Not to mention that they would all be willing to fight and die for their country. Both of those stipulations are nearly extinct in this country. Most gun owners in America are not fit, nor are they military trained and all things considered, they are probably not going to want to die for this country. Regardless, I think you're still right. A land invasion would be suicide in this country.

Two of my mechanic coworkers are Chinese. They're not physically powerful but they get the job done. They both suffered badly during the cold snap while we chained up buses in the cold 17degree wind. I felt fine except my nose was cold.

I'd be interested in finding out what the actual number is. Surely it's increased exponentially since the 80 million numbers were thrown around (years ago).
I'm of the mind set that invasions are more likely than not...

@smttysmth02gt Especially with our military spread abroad. We have hundreds of bases full of our troops stationed all over the world. They can't protect us if they aren't here. I think it's certainly plausible that any number of countries that are allies (china, russia, north korea, etc) would consider an invasion at some point in time, considering the only force would be the untrained population which only possesses small arms. I do love these types of discussions though. Thanks ironhead.

Wow, thank you for that one! Funny thing here in Oklahoma there isn't a state reg. for fire arm's. If you buy new or from a dealer it's a phone call for a background check. Then it's cash & carry. But, if it's a private party sale there isn't any kind of registry that needs to happen. With that there's no telling for this state but I know it's not a small number.
