I ADORE JOHN STERLING. Except if Paul O'Neill is on YES, I turn the sound down on the tv and listen to John and Susyn. I think he's GREAT. I love his calls, I love the nicknames (" A TEX MESSAGE FROM TEXEIRA; AN A-BOMB FROM AROD; ROBBIE CANO DONCHA KNOW.) I love it all. He brings joy and laughter to every game. Michael Kay is absolutely obnoxious. I love Kenny Singleton, but Kay is a pain in the ass knowitall.
@slapshot68 because of the situation! it was a situation in the game where a catcher that has no speed would not be stealing a base right there. but it was obviously a hit and run and Sterling was right he wasnt just strait stealing second Jeter was supposed to swing

Hey, no one is perfect, but he's a damn entertaining announcer, and my favorite for over 15 years. Wish Mike was still with him like back in the 90's. I used to laugh when Mike would describe the uniforms every game. "Yankees in their white pinstripes, number on the back, no name....of course. Midnight blue cap with a white interlocking NY on the front." Also I love John's nicknames for the players, and of course BALL GAME OVER! YANKEES WIN! THEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE YANKEES WIN!
