There has to be a mix in socialism and capitalism. Goods and easy things to buy, for pleasure should be worked for, the more you work the more pleasure you get. Things you need in different points in your life, such as education and ---

You only need an education once, so people should pay to get you through it. When you don't need further education, you should pay for people's education the same way you did when you needed it.

Read the horror stories of patients in waiting rooms in the U.K. There are cases where patients waiting to be treated drank the water from the plants in the room just so they could have something to drink. Look up how long one must wait to have a vital knee surgery in UHC countries (hint, minimum of 9 months according to the 2004 survey). We have the best SYSTEM in the world, we just need doctors with a sense of morality.
So which countries exactly was this long wait thing in? You can't look at the U.K. because there might be a country or few that are the real problem makers and not all.
Those examples are from England, though there are cases in other countries as well.
As I said before, our SYSTEM is the best, we just need doctors, insurance professionals, etc. with moral values who will help those who can't afford it.
In the United States in the 60s, if someone needed medical care but couldn't afford it, the doctor would treat them for free. Because it was their moral duty. Now, though, many doctors can't or won't do this. But we can't deny medical care to the poor.

If they KNEW he was a threat, we would have found evidence. They did not know, they lied and said they did, that was intentional. This conflict is about protecting the financial assets of U.S. politicians. The White House lied to the American people so they could have a justifiable reason to be in the Middle East. You only need an education once, so people should pay to get you through it. When you don't need further education, you should pay for people's education the same way you did when you needed it.

Read the horror stories of patients in waiting rooms in the U.K. There are cases where patients waiting to be treated drank the water from the plants in the room just so they could have something to drink. Look up how long one must wait to have a vital knee surgery in UHC countries (hint, minimum of 9 months according to the 2004 survey). We have the best SYSTEM in the world, we just need doctors with a sense of morality.

Those examples are from England, though there are cases in other countries as well.
As I said before, our SYSTEM is the best, we just need doctors, insurance professionals, etc. with moral values who will help those who can't afford it.
In the United States in the 60s, if someone needed medical care but couldn't afford it, the doctor would treat them for free. Because it was their moral duty. Now, though, many doctors can't or won't do this. But we can't deny medical care to the poor.

well guess what, i have a friend who is a veteran who goes through the va, he had to wait 13 months just to get a cortizone shot because the military messed his back up while he was in. 13 months, for out veterans, if thats not sucky health care, then i dont know what is. idiot

you seem to be forgetting one important point in your argument. the government is the biggest entitlement program in the country, and they are completely dependent on us,after all, every single thing they have is because they take from us. That is exactly why they spend out of control, because there will always be at least 300 million or more people to take from. idiot

I agree healthcare is a unilatertal responsibility, but I have a problem with the liberal hypocrisy of the phrase "it's MY body."
They will bitch moan and scream about overweight people taxing the system, THEN they go home and put poison in their OWN bodies behind closed doors (drugs, alcohol, y'know, basic POISON.)
So we can forget about helping overweights, but let's hand out those illegal substances and pay for little Johnny and Janey Q. Whitebread's designer drug rehab...
