Oh yes, indeed. :D I do like Martha, but she just didn't have a chance of replacing Rose--and without the beloved blond ex-shopgirl, the Doctor and the series both took on a very grim and pessimistic undercurrent that made the Ninth Doctor's days seem like fun and games all around.

Hopefully, Rose will return to the Doctor in time to help him stop that tide of darkness and bring some light back into his life. Fingers crossed here... :)
