Too bad about the FFX videos. I've been thinking of starting that challenge, and your videos were a pretty good resource.

I'm liking this challenge, though. I always loved playing FFX-2 (not for the story or anything), and this should be interesting.

I hope you have all the instances where you can enter battles under Pointless status inflicted by the enemy in mind. That should allow you to keep your levels even lower.

I haven't quite put that into mind, it did cross my mind, but I'm not 100% sure which fiends inflict Pointless, I'm not as big on FFX-2 as I am on FFX and FFXII

The Ahriman enemies do. Just Ctrl + F 'Pointless' in Split's FAQ, you should get the whole list. I imagine you'll want all three girls in the status for the CH3 boss fights, maybe even more.

Okay, just checked, and it's only the Grim Gaze enemy that sets the status. It can be first encountered in CH3, but it's also an encounter in CH5. I'm not sure if you can keep this status for the mandatory CH5 bosses though, I think you have to touch a save sphere just to get there.
