Just saw them in Columbia, MO last night and they opened with this. The whole show was brilliant, but this really set the tone of awesome for the night.

i love this song a thousand times more when it's played live. i saw them in iowa city last month, and this was one of my favorite songs of the whole concert.

I grew up in 70s listening to prog rock (ELP King Crimson Gentle Giant) This is the most "prog" I've heard in a long time. Got the epic fell like Close to the Edge by Yes but in three minutes instead of eighteen. Heard this on KSPC Pomona..they didn't announce song title. Checked their web playlist...not listed...called station...DJ out of town. finally remembered (wrongly) "eat grapes" typed that into Google with "lyrics" an discovered that you guys did the song. Keep on being ambitious

There's something oddly beautiful about a band playing songs titled after bible verses right after loud screaming metal.

This is a great video. I saw them two months ago and i've been looking for a live version of this song ever since. I've always liked when the mountain goats play as a full band, so its cool to hear the most minimalist song on the whole album done with the full band. It was my first time seeing them and i was really surprised at just how hard they rock, i guess i was expecting a little bit more mellow of a show, but hot damn, it was one of the best shows i've ever seen. and John is all smiles.
