Yeah he should! I actually didn't notice until after i watched the episode and then I was like, "Why did Shere Khan roar like and adult rather than a cub?"

Well Shere Khan is the only one who became enemies with all the others. Everyone else just grew apart and started living their own lives which most of the time did not include each other. If you notice in the end of the Movie Bagheera and Baloo are still friends.
