Now if you could just make a Dalvik VM that will run on *nix x86 architecture. It already runs on Linux 2.6 so it shouldn't be too hard to port it to OS X and create a wrapper app. Please get right on that. ;)

@PS3AuRoN89 Well if they show it working on maemo 5 we can almost be sure that they're bringing to maemo 5 first. But Maemo and Meego are running into a very similar structure and Maemo hackers will port it (if it's even necesary, because i think meego runs maemo apps).

I'm really happy about that, finally I could have WhatsApp and lots of grat apps on my n900 :D

MeeGo will run old-skool J2ME apps on its conventional JVM as well, won't it? It's going to be sweet either way. The main thing I don't like about Android is the crappy cut-down linux that runs underneath. But with MeeGo I'll get a decent linux distro AND tons of existing apps, AND some new native apps to boot. Wootles.
