I loved this war of the worlds, because its directied be Steven Spielberg ( The greatest SCI-Fi Directer who'll ever lived.)And the movie actully had all that was in the book! The old 1953 George Pal film had nothing from the book except the title of it! And what all so makes so great is the music, by one of the greatest movie composer John Williams. But we have to give credit to the creater of the story: H.G.Wells. Great video and music I LOVE IT!!!

Despite all the criticism that this film had, I thoroughly enjoyed watching it, and the John Williams music involved in the film is brilliantly done.Although the 1953 film is good,this newer version has much better effects,but lacks the finesse of the laser sounds from the older version.Great video!

Loved the movie. Spielberg's use of reflections in windows of the tripods was brilliant.  Made the movie all that more real.

I know. PS. I hope no one kills me for this, but, despite the fact it's true to the book, I think the Jeff Wayne war of the worlds is GAY. Seriously, a MUSICAL?! About an ALIEN INVASION?! Were they on crack?! This movie, despite the fact it has many differences from the book is pure realism. The reflections of, not just the tripods, but the aliens themselves... The reaction of civilians... it's just... epic... The film is AWESOME!!!

Well they already made a movie for back then, Spielberg obviusly wanted to make this film today experimenting in interest of how it would be handled and what would happen to the world in the present even if it is only 60 years later

It seems like usually in recent films, the aliens never look that great, usually due to poor CGI, but i think here the alien looked pretty fricken cool/creepy at 8:06. good job spielberg!

i think speilberg was just trying to capture the brutality of the alien's. And showing the cause and effect of the attack's. Yes some part's were sort of cheesy but it was still a heart pounding movie.
