  • Ever think of using 2 repti carpets cut to fit, keep one on reserv and replace a dirty one with a clean one. then clean the dirty one between the snakes messes?

  • Aside from your coffee mug as a water dish and the paper towel bedding i really like your setup. You have definately given your snake enough to hide in and crawl around on

  • dude you d0nt know what your doing

  • you might ass well throw your skateboard in there

  • The most work you will ever see a kid do

  • i can do it for 5 minutes...not 9:47

  • whats that thing called with the humidity and temp?

  • thats a small fuckin heat pad

  • man i want a snake

  • i use paper towel its easy to clean and cheap. plus the snap doesn't give a shit

  • acutaly heat pads are desinged to get to a certain temp and then stay at that temp i dont undersand why you guys are saying thats this care video is gay cause im sure half of you guysdont even have a reptile or make videos yourself this is actualy a really good setup just to help you out kid actualy buy a real water dish a mayber throw on a 75watt night bulb with a light fixture other than that your doing awesome

  • good job nice setup and i don't know why people are saying it sucks because i breed ball pythons and one of my ball pythons are in a tank like that,so your doing perfect :)If anyone has questions about ball pythons email me @jordanjrodjrod@aol.com:) thanks.

  • poser..........

  • Where did you get that tank>?

  • I used paper towel when my ball python was a baby. It worked good but I didn't like the look of it. so I changed him onto to coconut husk but he didn't like to move around on it I don't know what why... so now I have him on aspen bedding (what I use for my rabbits too) and he seems to like it way better. and it looks a lot cleaner with aspen.

  • GAY AS FUK!

  • nice... setup

  • Do you realize that a heat pad plugged into the wall can heat to over 120F? You NEED a thermostat dude. Don't make a care video if you don't know what your doing.

  • @AmsterdamFire321 yes it is true that they exeed the required heat but once the heat radiation has travelled thru the glass and substrate your lucky if you can acheive 80 degrees of heat so it realy doesnt matter i have a thermostat but i dont use it on any of my set ups as the heat never gets over 80 degrees on the viv floor anyways so its fine

  • @TheReptileking011 That's not true at all actually. I have the same heat pad in this video. A zoo-med 10-20 gallon. It heats through the glass to an exact temperature of 121F (measured with a lazer temp gun). You need a thermostat, as stated before. Heat pads aren't designed to heat to the ideal temperature.

  • i use aspen bedding and mine she loves it and @Dreamstate7711 they dont use sand dipshit isaturates their skin

  • i use aspen bedding and mine she loves it

  • nice set up for your ball python keep on making more videos

  • Comment removed

  • @Skaterman1408 ur a fucking asshole u fag fucker

  • Zilla makes a carpet for tanks that works rlly well. I had a problem with my old bedding too .. when i found my new stuff i was amazed at how much safer it was and its a breeze to clean

  • Holy crap skaterman1408 Is a ass hole

  • no outside matrial eithr mite infestation

  • i hear lysol is fatal to all reptilees

and thats a likee 5 gallon uth trya biggeer 25g uth

  • That's a small heat pad for a 40 gallon

  • nice tank

  • your zoo med mat is like... really small LOL

  • k. don't hold a snake that's shedding first off, and second, use a tuperware for the water dish... if not a legit water dish

  • lights or heat pads are better

  • Would sand work instead of paper towels? answer me please. :o

  • @BahrainCock no..but mulch, aspen, reptibark, and reptile carpet does:)

  • Cage looks great besides the paper towls.):

  • Dude how many freaking papertowls do you need? Paper towls don't make it more natural! At least use reptile carpet.

  • ur gonna burn the snake

  • Are you using any device to control how much heat the heat pad produces?

  • worst video who uses paper towls make it more natural

  • how do the snakes slither on paper towles

  • @Themeganmiller

its no problem for them, my guy loves paper towel lined in his tank, it never moves around, its easy, clean and soft. i do about 3-4 layers, works great and keeps him warm no matter where he is... I even line his home with it so he can stay warmer

  • @Themeganmiller The same they "slither" on sand and other surfaces.

  • @Themeganmiller - Oh you'd be surprised

  • how old are you i dont think your old enough to say these words

  • I just got my python today, and i have a heat pad, should i have some sort of light

  • @tasdin11994 yeah get a heat lamp dude!

  • ok shit setup for

1:wtf is with them shitty stickers u fag

    2:dont use sand use carpet

3:dont have so meny hiding places

4:dont have alot of things for it to climb

5:all you need is a heat mat and a bulb and u dont need all the shitty plants

apart from that i still wudnt say its a good set up if u want a good person try

    ralphdavis

  • @123dinzey What's wrong with adding decoration eh? The set-up looked pretty cool to me. It's good to have a few hiding places to suit its needs. He has supplied the snake with all its basics needs and the rest in the tank is optional!

  • Is aspen a good substrate for them????

  • @SUPERSLURPZ lots of people use aspen. i believe its safe

  • @SUPERSLURPZ yes

  • @MultiBigmac98 wat about coconut fiber(eco earth)??

  • @SUPERSLURPZ yes but it isnt the best

  • @SUPERSLURPZ i would use aspen

  • That heat pad is to small

  • what about bedding molch or wateva

  • @sargroerich hum?

  • i think that is a good set up but if i where you i would use substrait and not papertowles.....

  • @skaterman1408 newspaper has inks in it which might be poisonous to snakes, so paper towels are better

  • get a substrate but other than that good vid:)oh dont hold your snake if its in shed

  • get a substrate but other than that good vid:)

  • Pretty good setup- I'd get a better water dish- I use a large heavy water dish for a dog because it is big enough for the snake to soak in (not that my snake does that but he might someday) and because it wont tip over. Plus it's inexpensive and attractive in my opinion. :)

  • weres the top wount it get out

  • why did you not put substrats?

  • hi i live in the uk and i have been told by about 8 or 9 reptile vets that you should use a heat bulb rather than a het mat pythons like to bask in the heat not lay on it atleast thats what ive been told any one know the real heat source i should be using???

  • @typh210 heat mats are better, belly heat is more important, you wouldnt see a ball python in africa resting in the sun in the middle of the day vulnerable to predators.

  • please tell me were u got ur ball python. its beutiful and im getting 1 for my birthday in aug.

  • @Thematthewrox123 u can get a ball at most any pet/ reptile shop but best too look for a breeder bc u get happier snakes that way and u still should have time to find one between now and aug

  • @tblairsr

thank you for letting me know!

  • How do you keep such a big tank warm? I've got a small heat pad like yours under mind and I'm using a 60w red bulb but it's still a struggle.

  • How do you keep such a big tank warm? I've got a small heat pad like yours under mind and I'm using a 60w red bulb but it's still a struggle.

  • i'd go with another bedding but other than that really nice set up

  • do you need lamps for your ball python?

  • Balls to you.

  • ball pyhons dont need humidt guages jus spay him

  • Would 15 gal by OK for a 2010 baby (30-35cm)?

  • @xxtasha10xx definitely a baby could do great even in a 10 gallon but adult your going to want like a 30 to 40 gallon

  • @MrSnake5678 Thanks

  • umm yes i have a question werewas ur snake during this vid?

  • how many gal is the tank?

  • heat pads can cause some pretty bad things to your snake, just trying to help no insult good video, but you might want to look it up, ive been taking care of these kinds of snakes for as long as i can remember and i thought i heard they can cause a skin irritation to the snake

  • you are so lucky you have a ball python I WANT ONE SO FREAKING BADLY AS HECK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!hoping for one on christmas=)

  • @beardiekeeper99 for real im tryin to convince my dad

  • dont mind them lil queers sending u dem comments they are nobodies id knock dem ou wi a slap...keep up the good work i do the same for my ball pythons

  • Did anyone else here him say ow at the end?

  • how can i keep the humidty up for a ball python becuase mine keeps on droping to 40%

  • yes, paper towel can be used, but newspaper is much better, your whole solute, solvent theory isnt as big a factor as youd like to think...also i hope you have that heat pad (which is too small, by the way) hooked up to a thermostat because if your just leaving it on/off plugged into a socket the paper towel you put down is not going to block enough heat. all in all a pretty rookie set up in my opinion

  • hey guyz if you like this vid check out mine of my fire ball python (subscribe and rate im gonna make a lot of vidz so stay in the loop!) just search rowdyQSTASR

  • cool, I don't use aspen anymore too! I have now made the change to paper towels.

it's cleaner, safer, and better way to maintain your cage and your snake's health! keep up the good work 5*****!

  • wat size is the tank?

  • coool

  • your heat pad is too small for that terrarium..you must put the heat pad in 50% of terrarium...

  • AND A WATER BOWL

  • ur dumb i have a ball python i did not set mine up like that i got a heat pad heat lamp and wood chips and a rock and like wood this for him to climb on and a plant (fake)

  • you put like 2365298765 decorations in there kid...

  • hey mate i have just got my terreriam for my spotted python and im wandering how much did this cost u u no like all the caves leafes lites and stuff jjst pm ty and i have subbed

  • wat size tank and will that last him his hole life

  • Is this a good setup wen you have a baby ball python?

  • hey what size is your tank?

  • hey im not gonna be mean but i think you should us aspen cause i pretty sure it works better

  • how do they burn themselvs?

  • @akamaster09 with the heating lamp, they can get to close to the bulb so you should be careful with that:(

  • Comment removed

  • @Skaterman1408 it really doent make a difference. in fact, paper towel may be better because when water or urine is applied to the news paper, the urine acts as a solvent, and the ink it the solute. with paper towels, there is no dissolving reaction, its simply absorbent.

  • @pythontricker you can buy unprintted newspaper

  • @pythontricker

and paper towel is warmer, it keeps any heat better, i use paper towel too, way better then news paper, some ppl are just stupid stuborn

  • @Skaterman1408 dude ive seen you commenting on other peoples vids and all you do is troll so quit being a little prick and stop talkin shit

  • @Skaterman1408 You got fucking pwned

  • @Skaterman1408 fuckup

  • @Skaterman1408 no need to be an asshole you douche.

  • @bellotti8101 dont feed the trolls..:/

  • @Skaterman1408 lmao ; dipshit

  • Comment removed

  • @Skaterman1408 im not talking about he put paper towel on as the bedding im talking about he said u can also use toilet paper lol

  • Homo stickers are homo.

  • lol toilet paper

  • Comment removed

  • Hahaha, stupid skater bitch

  • why cant evry one just get along?? nah just kiddin. to all u fuckin punks talkin shit for no reason on youtube...YOU HAVE.. NO BALLS

  • I heard that heatpads are crap and dont heat very well, but Idk maybe they are pretty good.

  • @gunspinner101

yea. it keeps the substrate warm. and if u put it under thier hide, it keeps em happy while ther hiding

  • @wigfu hehe ok, are they better to have them heat lamps???

  • @gunspinner101

i have a heat pad AND an overhead light so i have plenty of heat. i also bought a repti-temp rheostat manual heat controller from petsmart. its got a dial on it so u can easily controll the temp.and if u can i reccomend a daylight bulb and a red bulb for 12 hours of day and 12 hours of night. they like the day and night light cycle.they also cant see red light so they might explore more with it. any other questions just ask.

  • @wigfu well since you said, I am getting a BP in a couple of months and I was thinking of getting a temempurture gauge or a digital therenometer and I dont know which one is better, but I like how the gauge also comes with the humitity too. but I am still deciding. but Isint it easier just to keep 1 lightbulb on teh keep swithing when its night???

  • @gunspinner101

digital thermometers are more reliable. u can also go online and get a thermometer gun. u just point it where u wanna record the temperature and it also reads humidity.

  • @gunspinner101 explains y almost all ball python breeders us heatpads :)

  • @Hotwheelsftw ok lol

  • its a ghetto snake tank

  • nice video and good setup i am getting a ball python in like a month and i been looking at different vids for things to get and i think the setup was good man it gave me some good ideas good job

  • @4196Anthony same here

  • sorry i think you put to many things in your tank i mean 3 sticks a 2hides is overdoing it bud.

  • ok that portable termometer the one that's not under the hidding place thats bad because the snake will just swallow it and its ok to use towel paper as its bedding but its better if you use aspen snake bedding

  • kewl

  • this really wasnt a way 2 set up a python cage i got 1 nd mine is janky but luk better dan dis but it is sum pretty cool features in urs u gave sum gud advice but paper towel doesnt cut it

  • i bet his snake loves those stickers

  • i got my balls in a tank with towels and the heater on the side of the tank just shareing a nother idea

  • @candidomoreno666 lol thats what she said

  • is that heat pad really big enough?

  • is it good to handle a ball python when its shedding

  • @juwan1007 I wouldn't handle unless necessary as they could get stressed easily during shedding.

  • nice setup :) ignore all the losers that probably drowned their snake because they thought you had to put water in it since it's an aquarium

  • Give it a real bedding, not paper towels. And your cage is not a skateboard, Stop putting stickers on it. and who the hell puts a coffee mug in for a water bowl, dont be cheap. go get a real bowl for 3 dollars at any store. heat rocks get way to hot and burn your snake. Lysol wipes will kill your snake. i can tell your snake isnt healthyby looking at it. pisses me off people like you even have pets. think its cool just to show your friends.

  • the tanks actually pretty good. Dont listen to the nerd ragers who think their so tough on youtube, theres nothing wrong with skateboarding stickers wtf its your tank your snake doesnt care.

  • @pythontricker hahaha you rock! (you also own people easly) =D

  • #FAIL

  • what the fuck u fuckin skate boarder u dont use lysol stuff on snakes

  • Did you seriously just start instructing us on how to fold a paper towel?

  • haha faggot

  • hi could u please tell me wht i need for a set up for a ball python like basking ligth uva ect i live in uk

  • u do know that the heat pad has a sticky part on the under side that your supose to stick on to your tank you dont lay it down with the writing facing up and just laying there

  • no sand or bark , wtf , ur snakes respotory infection is not because of the bedding. it may be a result if you nevvvverrr clean or replace it. but to eliminate it because you think its the cause is wrong.

  • thats a pretty small heat pad for a 40 gallon

  • @TheNickster1212 ya its a small pad, but thats only for were it lays. for the rest of the tank he needs a heat lamp

  • @JordaneX27 you would be better off letting the humidity drop to 40-50 overall, and give the snake a humidity hide.

  • what's good homie, im getting my first ball this month, what should my temperature's be looking like.?

  • bout 85 to 90 dont go past 90 on the hot side. cool side really doesnt matter..its what ever the temp is,, in the tank usualy like 80 or a lil lower..

  • just for the record u have the heating pad upside down lol

  • check out my setup guys!

  • great job

  • By placing the stickers that are about skateboards onto the glass turns the snake into a tony hawk?

Or does it just kind of block the veiw as you gaze into the snakes sexual eyes

  • @TheLobsterOfFate Hahaha x3

Dude, you just made my day lol

  • @TheLobsterOfFate hahahah

  • do u have ur snake round ur neak
