thanks man, this was wonderful. im new to the ZIppo cult and i know they really do last forever if you take care of them. but sillyme, i thought my Zippo was gone after my flint went. P.S. what region is your accent? Nottingham?
@GuiltyOfBeingMinor Glad i could help, and I currently live in the Isle of Man but used to be in the south of England so i think i prob have a mixture of weird accents. :D
For my 20th birthday my dad gave me a 1969 zippo. He bought it illegally because in my country there was a soviet opression. I didnt know how to change the flint and 10x for the awesome vid !!!
Thanks mate :)! this was really well explained and helpfull. Now i have my Zippo fully functional again :)! Expecially like your methods of ''how to do it in the rough'' Instead of saying you NEED a screwdriver, you can just use the Zippo case. which i also did, and worked fine
flints u can get from smokemart....tobacoworld and places like that. every shoping centre has a smoke store and in there they will have flints along with various other smoke goods such as pipes..lighters and of course zippos

@yankeered2k6 usually u can get it at any tobacco counter in newsagent or a supermarket, if not just search eBay for it any their is loads of people selling flints and fluid sets cheaply

You can pick them up from Supermarkets I think, same as filters and papers. If not then a local Jewellers or Shoemenders should stock them
