@ndfaithful No Penn State football doesn't do stuff. Penn Staff are in trouble but if you say the students who are players did things let me explain to you something that occured to me when I started to read comments like this the first time. The senior on campus 13 years ago (almost 14) was 9-10 years old. freshman were like in kindergarten. clearly they were innocent in this mess. and this is coming from a HUSKER fan who 2 years ago would have thought PSU = good team watch out!!!!

I don't want to say sacred,but as someone who is a sports fan I can even relate it to a school setting--the equivalent to knowing your teacher committed a crime in a classrom and then having said building stand.

Penn St. may have lost to a Gator Team that wasn't that terriffic, but I will say this, take that INT back and IF Penn St. would of scored who knows how that game would of turned out....Urban may not have gone out a winner.....something to think about.... Iowa was the better team for the 2nd consecutive year. I'm a dedicated Penn State fan and am willing to admit that. The results don't lie. Don't subject yourself to mindless internet babble. Tradition and class separate the BIG 10 from the other conferences. We are fine with the media's disparagement. BIG 10 schools exemplify for honor, respect, and dignity. There is only 1 of 6 major conferences who still honor the meaning of student-athlete. Keep it classy BIG 10...We always will.
Yeah Hawkeye Football! A history of losing and basically no success. This year is the FIRST time they have ever had an 8-0 record. That is how pathetic your program is. Enjoy this year, cause considering the way Iowa is, they probably won't return to the top 10 for another decade. While we will still be enjoying the yearly success we always have.
yeah we will for sure have a lot of questions there but we have 3 great qbs ready to step in two 4 star recruits plus last years back up in newsome so know matter who it is they will be young and inexperienced but will be sure to have a lot of talent

We are 10 games over .500 in that span in-conference, we beat OSU 3 whopping times, lost to michigan for how many years, we now cant beat Iowa, and I wont even go into our road record against ranked foes. Right now we are at a critical point and the admin needs to do right by PSU and let Joe go. I agree he has done wonders for this school, but I support a program, not one man.
@BassAssassin9 Our records not bad, not great. While I think most fans want new blood in the program (myself included) there is no way we can just eject Joe. He's done great things for the program, and the athletic directors will wait till he decides to leave, they have no choice after everything he's done. Is Joe being selfish? maybe. But as long as he's confident in his abilities to coach I can't in good conscience attack him after everything he's done.

@BassAssassin9 Our records not bad, not great. While I think most fans want new blood in the program (myself included) there is no way we can just eject Joe. He's done great things for the program, and the athletic directors will wait till he decides to leave, they have no choice after everything he's done. Is Joe being selfish? maybe. But as long as he's confident in his abilities to coach I can't in good conscience attack him after everything he's done.

You do realize that some born in the year of Joe's last undeated season now have driver's licenses dont you? A quarter century since the last title is unacceptable at a program with our prestige.

@BassAssassin9 I would hardly say recruiting is sagging, considering Schutt, Lewis and Reeves all within the last week. A part of me thinks joe is being selfish, but how do u kick out a legend, the last thing i would want to do is displace him like FSU did to Bowden. and I'm one of those kids(b. 1994) I want a championship, but not at the cost of our program's ethics. Part of the reason we've been successful is our morals and to betray Joe would go against what the program was founded on.
