@quidsup fasterfox is the lazy way lol. it tweaks them for you. taking the time to go into the about:config and tweaking from within takes more skill than setting fasterfox to ' Optimized ' and clicking close. I've done it manually before I found that extension so either way it's all good and not many do the tutorial like you did so it's nice to see stuff like that awesome work :)
@Ubuntu4Noobs I never said you were incorrect. But I'm just saying, Firefox isn't that much slower and it's around half the size of Google Chrome and if Firefox was the same size as Google Chrome, I assure you it would be faster.
@Ubuntu4Noobs Not necessarily. Firefox is smaller than Google Chrome. Last time I checked, Firefox was around 12Mbs and Google Chrome was 20Mbs. The people at Mozilla could add a lot of speed enhancements, by the time Firefox would be the same size as Google Chrome, it would be faster.

I just use fasterfox, and changed the wait time to let it install add-ons without the 'security pause' in the about:config

@experimental0000 I've never tried fasterfox. Would say Im lazy, but I bet Im going the long winded way changing all the settings in Firefox manually

@xDaveeedo I think they both have their advantages & disadvantages, but the real choice in the end is which browser you prefer.
Either way they're both faster and easier to use than IE

Firefox 4 and Unity appears to be a fine marriage.
