This should not be considered a video response from Tina Sani to Ustad Amanat Ali Khan's rendition of the same ghazal. Any response except to say "Masha Allah" would not be befiiting to the Ustad's singing. This is Tina Sani's tribute to the singing of a mastero. She may not have been her disciple but it is befitting of her to call her version a tribute. Her version in no way competes with that of the Ustad and neither was it intended to.

@rabanichoudhary Any comparison with the greatest Ustad televised, would be unfair. Frankly, I was fully expecting to be disappointed after having heard the great Ustad since childhood. However Tina surprised me. She is no Ustad but she surprised me.

Truly sensational rendition. I would never make a comparison between Ustad Amanat Ali Khan and Tina Sani since this is a tribute from Tina Sani that acknowledges the top position that Ustad Amanat Ali held in the art of singing. Nonetheless this is a very fitting tritube and hats off to Tina Sani for singing it so very well.
