Hehehe, Actually i've been there before. Thats the city you must visit when visiting to Tuscany. You can see the very wide real TUSCAN VALLEY so amazing

mboylorraine, you are so right it is a must-visit-city :) I went to Tuscany last summer, and fell in love with some of the old towns there, such as Volterra. The city itself is gorgeous, and the view is amazing :)

funny, I studied in Volterra for a 5 weeks two summers ago through the University of Detroit Mercy, and I had no clue about this book! You certainty capture the beauty that is the Tuscan Hill Town.

YAY! I've been to Volterra two days ago!!! Of course I freaked out at seeing the tower and the Piazza, but did you guys sight any fountain??? Well, I didn't, but I took a zillion pictures of the striped building next to the tower, where Edward must have waited...^^ And I kept waiting to see a beautiful female tour guide with a pale face and some cloaked figures in the narrow alleyways...yeah, my grasp on reality is not that firm, you know^^ Anyways I LOVED Volterra!!!

I am going to Voterra on 7 october, from Grosse Ile, Michigan, my son moved there 2 years ago just because he fell in love with the place after studing there 3 years ago, this will be mine and my husbands' sencond time there. My brother-in-law and sister-in-law and their 2 kids leave for Voterra on 18 June 2007. I love Volterra and all of the people there!!
