It was common for people to dump old cars in places where the land was steep and tended to wash away. Looks like both of those were dumped in a wash. Though both looked wrecked, doubtful they crashed there.

Car was more than likely just pushed down the embankment like so many people do. I also agree with dixiewife47, WAY too young to be cussing, it doesn't make you look or sound cool. What if a younger child wanted to check out the video and hear all the cussing, NOT COOL
I abandoned a Jeep Wrangler in Costa Rica when it tumbled down a ravine. E brake failed during parking and it started rolling while we were eating lunch. As were munching we hear the jeep flipping over and over down a steep ravine about 200 yards. It landed into a swamp and sank in 3 feet of mud upside down.
The cars you present here are dumped here not left where they crashed.
