just got bak a week ago after a week!! so amazing and beautiful water with good food and drinks..the locals are by far the most fucking annoying people on the face of the planet, the bother you in the ocean, off the resort on the resort and everywhere you go...u cant ignore them or nicely say no, you have to tell them to fuck off and they will. other then that trip was great...when you get to the airport ask the driver to pull over at douggie freshes spot :)

i went in april and miss the place. it was a very good time. i went with a wedding party of 30. anyone who is going there dont exchange your money. everything is priced in american dollars so get lots of ones and fives to buy stuff off of the resort. on the resort you will get change in american dollars but off the resort you wont. and when you barter pay about 65%of their initial offer. its a good deal both ways. tip the bartenders at the resort and you will have drinks as soon as you walk up.

I've been there allready 3times, and I still love it as much as before. There are a lot of people from the USA and Canada there.

every time i think about jamaica i want to just cry my heart out.. i miss it sooo much!! riu ocho rios jamaica was FANTASTIC!! thats how much i loved my trip and i really hope to go there AGAIN AND AGAIN AND AGAIN.. i loved dolphin cove!!! i rode horses in the water and everything.... but this year im going to another RIU hotel in mexico!! i never go to any other resort than RIU!! thats how much i ADORE them and their service!

Wife and I were there in March. Best vacation we ever had. Ate, drank, relaxed and had a blast. Only negative was the prices for souviners. What a tourist trap. Shop at a market palce called Taj Mahal. You will notice the difference.
