You guys are all idiots. By "SHOULD have been a goal" he means to say that 999/1000 that puck goes in the net.
However, this time, an amazing save prevented the puck from going in at the last second. He isnt saying it was a goal, or that he got cheated and by rule he should have gotten the goal. He is saying that it should have in the sense that 99.9% of the time, it wouldnt have been able to be stopped.

If you know anything about the sport, then tell me this.....if a guy shoots the puck and it breaks in half and half goes in and the other half is blocked what is the official call?
bingo! know why? because the official definition of a hockey puck is 1 inch thick by 3 inches in diameter and therefore the whole puck did not go in the net. aka no goal!

it annoys me more when the goalies just stand there and close their legs, espiecially when it's a high shot from the other side of the rink because it goes over their shoulder
