@laurensmalter My old man did it for 21 years & other marines that are in right now give me the same advice of not scarificing all for little. Dont get my drift? Take your sorry ass to 29 Palms or Camp Lejeune to see what I mean.
I respect our military, especially the Marines, there's something about them, that is so special to me, Duty, Honor and Country, is all about USMC,Brave men and women protect you and me. Real heros I say, they will never leave a soldier behind HECK NO I say. Semper fi "always faithful" their motto always, the few the proud the Marines, they dont accept applications noway, only the elite I have to say. Brotherhood 4ever, Marines never back away. ferocious in battle, and God Bless the U.S.of A!!
Worst branch to join because of standard of living, I recommend to all to join Army, Navy, Air Force instead of this shithole branch. You'll get my drift if you know what Camp Lejeune is.
@MrCmoney03 Living well has nothing to do with being pampered, Marince Corps is for cattle who love to work like a soviet russian & get little in return. Warriors know no bounds, there are many cowards in the Marine Corps as well. Lets see how much of a warrior you are when you die of lead poisoning in those below standard barracks. Work smarter, not harder; the successful follows this concept.
@Bronzecop Don't talk about what you don't know about. I was in the Marine Corps for 10 years and there's NOTHING substandard about the barracks. Most barracks today are more like a college dorm than anything else. In fact, I had low-ranking NCOs in my platoon living out in town in worse conditions than the Marines on base. Work smarter, not harder? Do you know that the Marine Corps leadership model is used as a guide for successful businesses the world over? You're spouting drivel.
@Goins2754 Why do Marines today advise me not to join? And my old man did the Marines for 21 years. College dorm my ass, more like a hotel room thats still in the 1970's standards. E-1 to E-3's areant given the same funds as an veteran NCO, but living out in town is better than dealing those barracks and inspection. & did you know business's do not look at the Marine Corps the same way as all the other branches? My brother whos in the Air Force has more success than he ever would in the marines.
Yes these are Marines... they are wearing "Service Uniforms"... Service A(Alpha) to be exact... im pretty sure the Marines is the military branch with the most uniforms(the best too =] lol)...
Also just by seeing their covers you know they are Marines...
depends on the time of the year and the temp, i graduated in august 07 and it was 105 degrees so we wore our chucks. Was probably winter time here so they wear the alphas
most likely san diego. However, the only way you can get to parris island from the west coast is if you are a girl because all female recruits report to parris island for boot.
