  • Hi, I had a c-section in January and despite not being too worried about the procedure, I was shaking all over... I think it might be a side effect of the epidural. Kudos on the videos, wish I had seen these before little miss was born :)

  • i knoe how u feel i was scared too... i had two c section/..... thinking about having my last one....

  • I'm going to have a c-section tomorrow and I'm scared to death! This video actually kind of calmed me down a bit, Thank you!

  • @Luckygreencarebear It's all a vague memory now. Don't worry about it. You'll do fine and at the end you'll have a wonderful little baby to take your mind off of it. :o)

  • ahh but its all worth it in the end :) im SUPER excited to have my first baby in may!

  • @babiesarebeautiful Amen! I'd do it all over again in a heartbeat!

  • well did your epidural hurt really bad? because im pregnant and expecting in may, and i plan to have a c section. but all my life i have been scared of surgery, and ill be scared to death. i just hope i dont shake to much and start bawling cause im scared. because i dont want to have much pressure.

  • @babiesarebeautiful Nah, it didn't hurt really bad. It was uncomfortable but I wasn't ready to jump off the table lol. The electric charge feeling was really weird and then not feeling your lower body but just feeling the heaviness of it was reallllly weird! lol

  • I loved my epidural, it was AMAZING. But I got mine during extremely strong contractions so I didn't feel the needle or even realize it was going in. It would be tough to have it go in without contractions.

  • OMG. I think I must have been a guy in a former life because this freaks me out too much...no wonder I put off getting pregnant. OMG this is my phobia. The needle and the fact they cut the baby out is just too much...either way. Why can't we just hasve some giant gizmo where the baby can grow in...

  • I shook so bad I pulled my neck muscles and had to be on muscle relaxants after the c-section. lol

  • it was freezing in my csection room too! when i had my son in 2007.. i love cold and that was tooooo cold! lol

  • Lol, at least they got your epidural in quick! It took them 2 kits and 9 or 10 trys to get it in right for me (weird because I'm not plus size) :( After I gave birth I looked at my back and it looked like someone took a ballpoint pen and dotted my back a bunch.

  • This is Ricky's mom. The reason they keep it so cold in any surgical room is to keep the bacteria growth low.

  • The rooms are cold too it keeps the tools and stuff steril and that, something to that nature, i asked both times i had a c-section.

  • I had three c-sections...yeah, the room is always freezing. Didn't they give you a warmed blanket until they got started? I can remember feeling the pushing and tugging but no pain...weird yes!

    You are too funny!

    Donna:)

  • Noo no warm blankets and I was too preoccupied to ask for one lol it didn't dawn on me until just now that I was cheated out of one! lol

  • OMG Im not alone ! I thought it was just me that was shaking out of control ! eeeek ! you are bringing back some scary moments !

  • I enjoyed your videos. I just had my son 8 days after you. I had a c section too.

  • Congrats! They are so worth all the c-section drama tho, huh?

  • why did you have a c section?

  • He was in the complete breech position

  • i had three c-sections and the last one was twins.....all the kids are in their twenties. this will just be a tiny blip in your family history.
