@The70sDiscoKing Nah, that run is extremely close to optima. Even if I found some improvements they would likely be so small that it wouldn't be worth the effort.

@Cpadolf0 i agree. it's an incredible run! some of those tricks are amazing. i'm really curious to see what they look like when you are actually doing them in slow motion. Can you post a video of you doing tricks like the shutter run in slow motion, how to fly so far when getting hit, and show how you are also able to maintain the speed charge for so long like you did after getting out defeating Draygon. That would be awesome to see! Thanks

@MSFRmike The actual time I ran to get the speedbooster to work is the same as if you just run, the distance is shortened though by only holding run on specific frames, and releasing forward sometimes to kill your momentum while still keep you moving.

its kinda hard to explain and it wouldent seem to be the best dream ever but to me i wish there was a glitch or place you could do it. anyways it is a large vertical tube with a bunch of solid blocks in the middle. imagin you are playing the game and you are in an area that has nothing in it, just walls on the left and right side of the screen. then there is a big square block in the middle so it is easyer to wall jump. then imagin that you are wall jumping up it and it never ends.

You spinjump into a 2 block high opening, and when you are in you press up which will put you in a crouched position, and if you did it with the right timing you will be slightly in the ground. Then just jumping will get you through the roof (if it is only 1 block high).

I think the record now is 00:50 (I never tried too hard to do a 100% run myself, but imagine that with training I'd get a time of 00:55-01:00).

Yes, but that is in fact not the fastest time. If you search for yayu50 you will find hotarubis chanel (the guy who dominates SM speedrunning at the moment), and he has a 00:50 run uploaded there. He has not submitted it to SDA yet though, becuase he wanted to get 00:49.

Yes, that's the original release, and the one most are familiar with, so it makes the most sense (also it is better).

It is with tool assistance, you just have to do everything absolutely perfect in order to do it.

NTSC framerate: TV - 24 fps, Video games - 60 fps

PAL framerate: TV - honestly no idea, but most PAL region DVD players can play either, Video Games - 50 fps.

After you get the energy tank in the Wrecked Ship and make your way to the top level that's undamaged, I noticed that you apparently jump through the floor at one point (5:36). How?

It's a little glitch. Basically you jump into an area two blocks high and when you are in you aim up, if you do it right it makes samus get stuck in the floor in a crouched position. And after that you just jump (the roof may not be taller than one block).

IF you run towards him when shooting the missiles it takes shorter time between each hit. So he never has the time to disappear.
