each overture is magnificent in its own way, and befitting of the situation; Mozart was among those who liked to summarize the overall setting and mood and social atmosphere..., and tended to agonize up to the last minute before presenting the overture (as you probably already know). As far as favorite, I think i've got to go with The Magic Flute. There are other lovely performances of it on youtube

De las ocho oberturas que se presentan, es en verdad muy difícil decir cuál es la mejor. Cada una representa un momento diferente en el proceso creativo de Mozart. Quizá por su concisión, su patetismo y su economía de medios la de Don Giovanni tendría el primer lugar.
