I wish Ron Paul would win.. Unfortunally the most idiotic people always end up winning.. In this case expect Romney or Gingrich.. which leaves me with no option but to vote for Obama
That is an inaccurate data much later in the primary season, obviously since Fred, Rudy, etc. are not on that list. Here is the poll from Real Clear Politics on October 10, 2007 (the equivalent time period of today's election cycle for 2012)
Rudy 29%
Thompson 21%
McCain 13%
Romney 11%
It won't let me copy and paste it since it is html but if you Google "October 2007 gop poll" it is the second link.
@rmccay88 i think your misunderstanding.. this particular debate was in 2008. The data I gave were the polls at the time of this debate. A Paul supporter claimed he wasn't getting enough time in this debate.. Debate time is based upon the popularity of certain candidate, so I was stating that his comment was bias. Sorry if that wasn't clear.
c'mon people! dont you see we all getting played in this game called elections? people who become presidents dont do what they told they "will do"! so i came to conclusion that president office in USA is not the very important office. this country's domestic and foreign policies are determined by those who select presidents, we dont see them on tv, they create news
McCain is such an idiot "I think we are better off overall....millions of jobs that have been created, improving the economy etc.." What planet is this dumbass from??? McCain is Bush all over again. Ron Paul 2012 the only politician with balls and the people's interest in mind.
Romney again as always evades the questions and rambles about his lame record. Romney in 2012? God I hope not. That's all we need, a deluded weak-minded fool who lies at the drop of a hat. Just look at his faith and that speaks volumes for me. 'Nuff said. Hey maybe the golden tablets are in hanger 51...hmmm?
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
Republicans tried to destroy america and almost did - maybe it cannot recover from them - if so the beheadings better begin! Anderson I like you but you're gay and if YOU are also a Republican then you are a dick!
I used to think the Anderson Cooper was a fair and straight guy, but the way he tried to stop Ron Paul from telling the truth, AC you should be ashamed of yourself, I guess the whole Katrina thing that you were reporting looking for fairness and justice was just a PR thing to promote your image, you're nothing but another RUDY Guilliani
Hey CNN, I believe this is called the REPUBLICAN DEBATE not the McClain/Romney Debate. Get your heads out of your asses and give more time to RON PAUL you ignorant bastards.
These puppets have been copying RP since the start. Go back and review the debates. I wonder how much hush money the MSM is getting for the censorship of RP!
STOP THE CENSORSHIP! VOTE RON PAUL!
I will be voting for RP. If any of the other three win I will be switching back to Indepent or Democrate. I would rather put up with Hillary, or Obama another 4 years then see any of these goons in office.
Their entire industry is about censorship. No one is allowed on TV unless they are completely "safe". Ron Paul is a danger because he wakes people up.
Listen to this information. Plasticbastard99 gathered this information about this debate. Here is what he came up with for this particular debate, I had to copy and paste it and share with everyone:
Romney> 29 minutes 56 seconds
McCain> 26 minutes 3 seconds
Huckabee> 16 minutes 5 seconds
Paul> 6 minutes 46 seconds
If that is not what I call corruption from the media and cheating the American people I don't know what is.
Debates follow popularity trends among the candidates so people will get a chance to hear from the candidates they want to hear from the most.. I think if Paul were leading and someone like Romney were low in polling numbers, you wouldn't be calling it corrupt media. That's just a bias statement on your part. Nothing against Paul, but if he wants more media coverage, or debate time.. get more supporters.
quite frankly, mccain scares me. He's so old, and i don't care about his mama, i mean. Come on, what if he takes after his daddy? Plus he doesn't strike me a conservitive. Ron Paul says all the right things, but i dont know if he'll do it....but thats the gamble right? I mean, Bush promised to fix social security (he didn't)....but that's the way it goes. I just hope who ever gets the nominating will stick to his guns rather than betray us to his own personal greed. =3
are you out of your mind??? Ron Paul would never endorse that silver tongued fraud...and that is what obama is. Obama, along with most of the others just say "Trust me, it's time for change. I am change." but none of them tell you how to, or what plan they have. But our great american Ron Paul does.
John McCain is with out a doubt one of the most boring candidates. As a republican i am scared to death that he doesnt have the fire to defeat a democrat, like the other candidates do. Plus i dont want a president that in 2 years will be getting around in a hoverround. He is too old to be considered "change" what america is looking for. And last he is not a true conservative.
Good on Anderson for picking up on Romney not even attempting to answer the first question!
McCain was nearly asleep. Huckabee talking some common sense. Ron Paul on the front foot and won that first question easily. Out of 10: Paul 9, Huckabee 8, McCain 4, Romney 3.
is it just me, or do they ignore him a lot? I mean, i know he isn't doing fabulous in the polls, but it's not good form to willfully skip over a viable candidate.
I wish Ron Paul would win.. Unfortunally the most idiotic people always end up winning.. In this case expect Romney or Gingrich.. which leaves me with no option but to vote for Obama
