well if he had the situation i had which was mustang v6 was my first car and the v8 and its insurance were to much at the time. v6s still need some love a mustang is a mustang.

@delasoul17 Mustang's being v6 isn't a new concept if you had a v6 mustang from the 60's I doubt anyone would rag on it. but i'd rather a new 302 anyways but my v6 has a lot lower insurance

true but then again, with the same money spent a V6 would undoubtly outperform the GT.

instead of buying a GT u could buy a base model V6 (like the bottom of the line which would be with no optional features) and spend only 3k and be faster and quicker than a GT.

its just common logic, u say with right mods GT will outdo a F/I V6, well if u spent the exact total cost 4 everything 4 the GT & its mods, on the V6, the V6 will STILL outdo the GT.

so really, ur argument wouldn't be valid.

a good way to explain this theory is by using the GT500 & the GT.

GT500 = ~50k new

GT = ~25k new

instead of buying the GT500, it'd be smarter to go with the GT & use the 25k saved to mod it. u'll be way over the Gt500's 540HP stock with all the money put into the GT.

add F/I & u can easily push 450+ on the GT, for ~6k. still ~21k left. spend like ~3-4k and get a full GT500 body kit. u still have ~15k left. use the remaining & u can easily surpass the GT500 in performance, & have its looks. .
