@InvaderZim987 I can think of one example, from the Megamix manga. When Elec Man and the other Light robots were going to be destroyed, Wood Man offered to save them if they joined the Wily numbers. Elec Man "agreed" and then went back on his word and betrayed him after they had been set free.

@Monkerr If I'm stupid for liking something that is better than I'd rather be stupid. Like whatever you want but old games have thought, heart and difficulty put into them. Those games made gaming fun. Shit nowadays is just about looks and nothing more. I own many of the old consoles and have many games in my collection from the past, yet with the PS3 or Wii I only have a handful at best. Why? Because newer games lack the thought and heart of the old generation and in the end they aren't as fun.

@XBladenoJutsu 8-bit will never be better then proceeding in technology. Old games can be made by a 10 year old. I don't know what games you're playing but there are a lot that are way harder then old games. The only reason games are so dramatically different is because of this wonderful thing called the internet where 6-10 year old get to complain and bitch. Also making the companies want to make the game for them rather then old gamers. Don't blame technology blame the idiots in the company.

Kind of obvious that 8-bit won't ever be better technology wise. That's common sence. You also say old games can be made by 10 year olds. That isn't possible because old games are already made. Maybe you mean, new games with technical limitations, and still the 10 year old would have to be damned knowlegable. Level design, AI coding, etc... Older generation games are far harder to make than you think. Also, old games are by and large harder in difficulty. Please... Play Alien Soldier.

I prefer my Megaman classic style with normal physics. Why do you think developers are going back to old style games? It's because they know just as much as we do that old school games are going to be fun and challenging as they always were. It's because they know making a new style for their games will never always work, so they chose something that they know will work.

Well, actually the people in the company aren’t idiots. They just know their market, and know a difficult game won’t sell as well. I mean, look at Super Mario Sunshine. Many times more difficult than the Mario game for the N64, and as such it's been panned by Nintendo itself. Neither the technology nor the creator are to blame for the steady decline in difficulty; it's the player's fault.

@Monkerr I`ve never played MM2 before, and I don`t know what`s so great about it. I just didn`t like the graphics of MM7, also Mega Man took too much space of the screen in my opinion. But there were some great ideas in it, though. For example: If you use the wrong weapon against a boss, he gets stronger.
