this is very much a FF 12 look a like. I see square Enix took liking to the design and atmosphere of that one. Wonder If the series will evolve beyond either FF7 or FF12 look....like back to FF9 fro example...now that would make a great next gen Final Fantasy!

Hironobu Sakaguchi ( the creator of FF) must return to the helm.

Squaresoft will always be better than Square-Enix.

Square-Enix must look at past FF's then look back at what they're bringing out and realize just what the fuck they are actually doing to this legacy. This great series that was so imaginative, compelling story telling at it's finest with the most adoring soundtrack you could ever hear.

Please don't confuse their epic cgi video for the game. I looked forward to this for a while and was shocked at how crap the game was. It's under reconstruction as far as I'm aware.I cancelled my subscription after giving it a fortnight chance of gameplay. It also needed a high spec pc to play. Was due to come onto ps3 console a few weeks back but was cancelled.

@floflwaffle. I've been working a good few months of not being able to enjoy 358/2 Days, Coded, or Birth by Sleep because I can't afford a PSP or a DS on a student's "salary". I spoiled 358 for myself and I've gotten way too many hints about BoS and Coded. Now there's Dream Drop Distance, the Final Mixes I never got to play, Chain of Memories on the PS2 (never beat it on Gameboy), and soon enough KH3 press will hit the horizon. DDD is the closest "main game" coming out. Has a trailer too. :p
