To clarify, in 1986 when Sandra Kim won, there was no age-limit rule. Although she was 13, she claimed to be 15 in the song. After her win and controversies over other even younger singers, the EBU added the age-limit in 1990. Therefore, she'll always be the youngest winner of Eurovision.

Regarldless, this is one of Eurovision's best winning songs. Sandra Kim makes a very good performance for her age!

Norway's winning song from 1985 with Bobbysocks and this one by Sandra Kim in 1986 are two of my all time favourite ESC songs!

What a great voice for a 13 year old girl, and I love the optimistic lyrics - and you just have to love the setup with electric drums and the keyboardist with big sunglasses:)

It`s such a shame that politic and monetary issues still decide who`s the winner song! It`s so unfair and frustrating for the best ones!!!

Anyway, since my youthness i love to see this contest, those saturday nights from the 80´s were magical! Those songs trully inspired us...

Nowadays i do not like it so much, because there are to many countries extra Europe in it.

One of those times when the best song won Eurovision. It's a beautifull song and sandra Kim sings it really well. To think I was only 15 when this happened, oh the good old days lol. Eurovsion has become to political now though.

I taped the 1986 Eurovison Song Contest and joined the army a few months later. I'd forgotten to pack all my tapes apart from the one in the 'boogy box', so all my room got to listen the 1986 tape, day-in-day-out (when we were allowed to listen to music).

Funilly enough, almost every soldier (if you could call us that) loved all the songs; eventually.

This is one of my favourates though.
