  • Some narration is done by Gary Owens.

  • It seemed that games like these had more focus on story and good writing/content. The graphics aren't top notch by today's standards but people still play them for the plot and gameplay. Games nowadays focus a lot on the graphics but tend to lack in the content...funny that World of Warcraft is still going pretty strong considering the dated graphics but enjoyable gameplay

  • I remember the fun of digging through every box/filing cabinet/room in the house try to find those damn game manuals!!!

  • the voices in this are pretty goooood !

  • wtf ! LOL

  • If only Sierra still made games like this /:

  • THIS GAME WAS AN EPIC ADVENTURE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! MY SWEET CHILDGOOD, TODAYS GAMES ARE JUST SUCK!!!

  • i loved this game so much. played through it like 10x. The mall lvl was pretty hard.

  • @woejipums

I gave up on this game for while back in the day because I couldn't effing dodge the police in the roller rink :P

  • @Rosecrow98 yeah they run in and shoot you and u are dead in -.1 seconds.

games like this used to be so hard...there was barely any internet to use to figure out how to get past a part when you got stuck. I had like 5400k/s dialup when i had this game up and running, and probably about 32mb of ram

  • I loved this game! They just don't make role playing games like they used to.

  • let me go...WITCH!

  • I love the Sierra Victory Tune

  • LOL this shit looks amazing

  • "Noooo not the tentacle rape again!"

  • 0:43

That face is more terrifying than the one in the beginning

    I mean just LOOK

  • i think the blond 1 is Beatrice Creakworm Wankmeister

  • the fuck is this!?

  • I'm not sure what it is, but I'm sure it would look cool spewing through the propellers.

  • i would have said that i'm sorry and that i want to be with her agian!

  • @soupdexter1

"Come on Baby, don't be like that...you know I got mad loves for ya"

  • I loved these games back in the day,, real adventure and humor and action. Today everything is soooo serious...

  • @GigglinMarley serious like serious sam? hahaha.. yea... i miss quest for glory and all the wonderful vga games. it's a good thing some folks still make'em. did you get to play quest for glory 2 vga remake?

  • @GigglinMarley Not Monkey Island. It has a habit of cracking jokes and making fun of itself and its genre. One of the few games today that does it. Thank you Telltale Games.

  • "this is epi-wip 3-57 the most powerful hand hair remover in the UNIVERSE" wow they never heard of bRAWWWRRRaun

  • "this is the last woman youll ever dump on ... right girls" ... long pause ... girls:"right"

  • Roger's voice kind of reminds me of Weird Al for some reason especially when in UHF

  • Let me go, b...witch!

  • man I miss VGA graphics....

  • 4:26 femdom scene.

    Xd.

  • Bad ass! Beat this, too. I can't believe you have all this stuff! I haven't seen this in 20 years.

  • @theworldsalight Lol! It was pretty much the face I had at 4:31

  • 0:42 1.00 derp face.

  • Oh this brings back memories haha! Does anyone happen to know (or have) a copy of the walkthrough's that you could get through sierra? I'm not sure if you got them through a bbs or mail order or something but I'd really love to find a copy of them for this or/and the other games of this series! Thanks =D

  • ACTIVATE...THE DOOR

  • wait. Why are the latex babes afraid of that sea slug? That one in the black suit is far scarier than any sea slug!

  • >>5:07

That is not a woman! That thing has a dick. That thing is a shemale as sure as Pete Burns is.

  • Comment removed

  • LOL sequel policemen

  • I would totally want to eat at a place called Monolith Burger!

  • wtf....

  • 2:07

is it just me, or does she have a cameltoe?

  • Huh. And I thought his complexion was red enough.

  • Great game. Great series. I bought it shortly after it came out. I did think however that it was a little on the easy and short side but oh well. I like the 3rd better but this is close. my favorite part was going to the space mall. Someone asked if there is a difference between CD version and this one, having watched this whole thing, aside for the voices, there isnt. I question the choice of putting the descriptions in voiceover only though. Slows things down compared to reading.

  • >>5:38

Okay, raise your hand if you thought that was her roaring the first time you saw this scene.

  • 4:29

Heh, I guess the idea of torture is a turn-on for Wilco... XD

  • this is the funnies thing ever where did you find this?

  • at first was almost rape and few minutes later our hero XD oldskool games rofl

  • Could be right out of a pron movie - one with lots of budget for props and locations. What is this? A brainwashing for kids so they become mindless consumer drones for the turbocapitalist-industrial machine?

  • I played this when I was 10, maybe that is why I am so messed up...

  • Yeah, nice upload.

But since you got the voices already, you really needed an MT-32 as well.

  • is the cd version any different from the original?

  • Wow. Is that Gary Owens as the Narrator?

  • even women of the future are excited by sales

  • Radio shock - a Dandy company :D

  • LET ME GO Bi....WITCH

    LOL

  • If I was that guy, I would try to suggest to all three of those women about doing a Four some... But that is me... LOL. /(*_*)\

  • @WarshipAngelus and me

  • Space quest 5 was the funniest.

  • Fantastic job, thanks for the video!

  • That's one woman I'd like to hump

  • OUR HERO!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I´m remember it but this game was to hard for the play.

  • My favorite entry in the series...ah, the memories.

And the Vohaul music sting is so damn catchy, even if it's only two bars of music!

  • "Latex Babes of Estros"

Proof that gaming as better back then.

  • I don't get it. Were they supposed to cut his legs off ( this is a kids game?) or just shave the hair on them?

  • @thedarkallies

I'm going to assume that you're a straight guy, who, nearly 100% of the time, would never have had their legs waxed before. It's painful as all hell. The hair remover probably doesn't cut the hair, but rather, pulls it out violently.

  • @thedarkallies

these were more like teen targeted games. those kinds of things weren't uncommon through the series.

  • Thanks for the memories.

  • 2:10 ... Nice... very, very nice.

  • this is great I want it

  • I wish that I really could've seen a full separate Space Quest 10 game and gotten to know exactly who this Zondra is... But it seems like this is never going to happen now.

  • they never had that done but it would have been great

  • >>5:38

I am woman! Hear me roar!

  • I LOVE THAT PART!!!

All this time, ever since i was like 7 years old, I always thought she was the one that roared. Slug I guess...... or is it? ;)

  • Let me go you bbb -- witch. I love that part hilarious. Almost says bitch but pulls back.

  • he remembered that he's in a game not exclusively aimed towards adults, and corrupting the youth just won't do. I think Space Quest's a pretty cool guy, eh censors himself and doesn't afraid of anything.

  • um, good plot?

    seriously wtf

  • @RogueSwordThesco

the games weren't about plot. they were about entertainment. playing them is more a testament to that, than watching it.

  • Comment removed

  • WOAH, WHAT WAS THAT.

  • This game had pretty good music, actually, barring only the sound quality. It's also supposed to be comedic. But feel free to stick to rehashed sequels Halo 3 or whatever the hell you kids play these days.

  • Stick to your WoW Grindfest kid.

  • ya tell me about it they dont make them like they used to aaaa the memories

  • Okay, this might be one of the sexier parts of this game. But one question...was there really a Space Quest 10? If so, it would have been a Leisure Suit Larry type Space Quest game that's adults' only.

  • There wasn't, which is a shame!

  • Lol. No. They stopped after 6. There are some fanmade projects for sequels but they never really took off and are on hold or under development.

  • SQ10 only appears as a time travel component of SQ4. That's the whole gimmick of SQ4, is that you travel to both future SQs and past SQs. When you return to SQ1

  • this one and pirates of pestulon were my faves. A bit let down with #6 tho, and really bummed that we're never gona see another entry to this great series.

  • @Omikron

part 6 was a lot better than part 5. i can say that much for sure. a bit more on the linear side but still a good deal of fun for me.

  • great thx keep going great stuff ^^

  • I remember getting to the mall, but I couldn't get past this point.

  • it took me forever to get passed the mall

  • Looks and sounds fine for its age, but there's not much of a gameplay to talk about.

  • @rumbamama

there is alot more to do if you don't run straight through it. people who grew up with these games know that.

  • LOL! Latex babes!

    XD

  • They were hot. Well, the blonde and brunette ones were.

  • I LOVE this games! Sierra was the finest in adventures. And Wilco is the funniest ever!

  • err The other SQ's are better but this one is still good

  • old time classic!one of the best

  • "this is the last women you'll ever dump on" That's just nasty..

  • @BlackSpiderWolf they have a nsty fetish

  • @BlackSpiderWolf

    YOU nassy

  • moron

  • This game is hilarious and Gary Owens only makes it infinitely moreso.

  • cool, space sluts

  • @roboticslave in one piece swimsuits... or are they leotards...? or those french cut wetsuits?

  • @figment1988 one piece. leotards cover arms

  • @xIegionx thanks. for some reason, the zipper fronts just reminded me of those body glove swimsuits from the 80s which looked like wetsuits.

  • I grew up on one of these Roger Wilco games.. I think it was the remix of the first one.. good times.. very good times..

  • loved these games, cant find em anywhere

  • haha reference to Leisure Suit Larry.

  • strange. today i realize that hohaul's "sequel policemen" with their black uniform+red armbands must have been a parody on nazi gestapo-officers. wired.

  • i love old sierra games. brings back alot of memories. In the 90s i played space quest IV and Kings QUest VII. just look how games have involved in the 10 years...

  • I never played this but it looks (and sounds to some extend) just plain awesome. Might be that I have to check it out one time. They just don't make games like this anymore do they?

  • Was the audio voice-over in the original or was this done later?

  • Nope, the original version had the voices, including the legendary Gary Owens as the narrator.

  • Comment removed

  • @jamejhl29 I bought the original when it came out, and it had no voices and was issued on 3.5 and 5 1/4 floppy. A version with voice was issued about a year later on CD around the same time as Kings Quest 5.

  • 0:44 ugly gfx... lol

  • Do you know what MIDI is?

  • yes (i know what MIDI is)... why?

  • WOW I can't believe how much of the game I missed, just by having a shitty soundcard.

  • Yeah! no kiddin...having a bad sound card sucked

  • I just love it when Roger said 'Was that me?'

  • "You're not sure what it is, but you bet it would look cool spewing through the propellors." hahahahah, awesome game

  • "..this is the last woman you will ever dump on.."

    :/ ew

  • you should have tried to talk to the skewered soldier...he says "help, a giant branch has penetrated my vital organs and i can't get up!"

  • 2:07 that's how i met my wife

  • is she as hot? wowzas!

  • That guy at the beginning of Space Quest XII sounds like Breetai from Robotech.

  • haha whoa, quest for glory theme at 8:48

  • "You think he has time to talk to you? He's too busy being dead."

  • this is my favorite part of the game. there are so many LOL moments here it makes my stomach hurt XD

  • Let me go you b b witch.

  • I would fuck that blond chick

  • Hey! It sounds like they are playing Quest for Glory in that software shop at 8:50. I never really noticed that.

  • "You don't know what it is, but you bet it would look cool spewing through the propellers." Ha Ha! Why can't comedy in games be this good today?

  • omg! 8:02 the voice actor sound like he in Stargate SG-1

  • Why cant all malls be as cool as Galaxy Galleria! XD

  • I cried watching this. This game got SO many memories wit me.I firs playd this game wen I was 9.......with NO SOUND. I didn't even know this got sounds.

  • Me neither

  • This is Space Quest IV or X????

  • Hehe. The game is about time travel and, since it's a comedy game, you time-travel through the Space Quest series. So it really is IV. XD

  • Tnx.. I think it was the first one I played.. The best one too! The six had better graphics but Roger Wilco wasnt so stupid like in this one.

  • IV. But in sq 4 you travel in time between SQ 1, X, XII (and III)

  • D :

  • LMAO "You're not sure what it is, but you bet it would look cool spewing through the propellers"

  • when i first saw it, i thought she made the roar sound lol.

  • oh i know CK wasnt made by sierra, what i meant was that in general the series i mentioned were amazing games. The good thing that i just found out is that Steam made CK 1-5 available to dl for like 5 bucks if you have a steam account, which is pretty sick. i would still like to c the series on a disk tho. Leisure suit larry, police, space, and kings quest were all remade this past year and u can get em at eb games etc. i got kq and sq, and theyre awesome! so everyone, buy them now!!!

  • wow these games made me cry. space quest 1-6 and kings quest 1-8 were the greatest games of all time...i only wish that they had also made a remake box-set collection of the old commander keen games as well :(

  • Yeah...wonder when they're going to get on that? What about Leisure Suit Larry?

  • Appropriate mention, considering that Xenon fell because the people there ran that particular game which was infected with a virus in Space Quest XII on Space Quest IV.

  • Sierra didn't have anything to do with Commander Keen, though; Commander keen was developed by Id.

  • By golly, you're right.

  • Best of Space Quests. No doubt of that.

  • this isn't the first time that a sierra hero is snatched by a larger bird of prey and dropped into a huge nest....KQV.

  • Ahhh...brings me back to junior high, I spent so much money on these games...does anyone remember calling the Sierra Games telephone hint line?

  • i love those space quest games! though im only 14 years old!!! i own them all!!!!! they are great i have beat all of them 2 times and number 6 7 times

  • ahhh this brings back memories.

Mine didnt have the voice dubs though, back in the day.

  • "Ah! You've made a selection from our pile of sh..., uh, bargain bin."

  • How odd...when I played this, the electronics shop in the mall was called "Hz so Good" rather than "Radioshock". I wonder what else they changed...

  • Zondra and Beatrice looked better in the diskette version. I don't know why they made the changes that they did.

  • They were sued by Radio Shack or that's why they changed it to Hz So Good in later versions.

  • sweet memories :D

  • I was in another world when i played this game.. they were the best... i was so sad when they cancelled 7 .

  • I couldn't play it too but I'm so happy I can watch it now. Thank You so much!

  • I didn't quit like it being played at a billion milliseconds per second but still... lovely. XD

  • "Now, this is a pain that'll linger. All the Ben-Gay in Florida won't relieve THIS stiffness!"

  • I loved the cheeriness of "Zap, zap. You're dead."

  • Or,

"As the green slime dissolves the flesh from your bones, you think 'hey, this stuff consumes 47 times its weight in acid!'"

  • hahaha i miss this. that was the funniest scene ever.
