Thank you! I was so moved by this...I don't have words...it was an amazing pairing of movie and song. I know conceptually of my saviors sacrifice but sometimes I need to be reminded of the extent of his suffering...and the extent of his love for his children . Amen
@MsMjones5 I'm glad the video struck a chord. I know the S.H. essay is somewhat dense. To better grasp what I'm getting at, it might help to read the question and answer document (just google 'Miscellaneous S.H. Q&A'). It goes in to greater detail explaining aspects of the model that might otherwise be a bit difficult to pick up on without someone pointing out the correspondences. I hope your daughter gets something out of reading it. :) All my best,
@kpharrington I used to think the same things. But in fact, he was of southern Arabic descent. That means he was relatively white. Might have had a little darker complexion, but not much. But good call though ha. Things will always be perceived differently or changed over time. The thing that stays the same is Gods heart, the intent of the Good News.
I love this song and the video. Each time I listen to it, it just touches my heart. Words cannot say how awesome this song and what I experience each time I hear it. It has become a part of me. I hear the song in my head, Oh, so often.
@mrbruce5151 Appreciate your sharing what sounds like a deeply personal and soulful experience. You're not alone in that feeling. I can't tell you how it grabbed me when I first realized how well the song fit to the video. It was and still is an ineffable sense of something far greater than can be seen or touched. If only it were possible to communicate the felt-presence of that moment in its raw undistilled form. It would humble anyone.

@kpharrington It's hard to know what יְהוֹשֻׁעַ skin color would have been, but as Dawkin's himself said it's the message that matters.

@GodsmackLoverOracle I understand the sentiment, but before judging I'd recommend reading "Disputation of Barcelona."
