I like the racing courses, but -hate- the "skill test" segments. It also sucked that you couldn't go back and re-race courses you'd already passed unless you had a save game for that track... And there are only three game save slots...
didnt like it on the pc, played the jag version first, and when i got the pc version and saw the graphics weren't as good or game play as smooth was disapointed.. went back to the old jag version and love it. wolfenstein was the only other game i thought the jag had the best version off a game (the improved graphics and map made the pc classic much more playable)
I had a good time with this game. The graphics were actually very nice with incredible weather effects for the time. Hell, it seemed photo realistic in parts. The control was actually pretty good, that video looks deceiving and the camera was fine. Multiplayer would have been a major boost but this was a solid title a friend and I competed against each other in constantly trying to get the best times. the upgrades and customizations were definitely cool.
The music sounds generic, but nice to hear. The graphics look miniaturized and glossy. The camera doesn't seem to follow the car well, leaving the player with bad vision of the following track. Overall, it seems like a nice game to play, but that could've been done better.
Still need to pick this one up. Always seemed like a fun game to me. But I think it can get anoying if you bump with your enemy or the sides of the track. I hate it when you stop because of that.
The 2d graphics are very detailed in this game. I also think I just spotted a difference between the European packaged and the US packaged versions of this game. The Fiat has a different name and I think the initial money amounts are different.
Thanks for posting this. This was actually a fairly enjoyable title for the Jag back in the day. It obviously wasn't a graphical masterpiece, but it was an immersive and fun game. At least I thought so.
wow! just look at thoes high tech state of the art 64 bit graphics...

it looks oddly charming, even if the presentation and music seems a little amateurish

This comment has received too many negative votes show
Christ. no wonder the Jag died!
If you try to pass this off as a 64 bit console with dogshit like this you are clearly a crack addict.

This was one really fun cart for the Jag. Not much depth but still very challenging and rewarding.

A few months later now. I've got the game now as well. It's a lot of fun, although I haven't had that much time for it yet.

I loved that game. The only thing I wish it had was a multi-player mode, like Moto Roder in the TG-16
