lol, and then you realize high quality audio files (.FLAC/.WAV) take about 35 mB of space for a 3min. song, i got myself a seperate harddisk just for that. ;p i prefer high quality in-ear's. they are comfy, sound GREAT, cost less and are wearable everywhere in contrast to headphones, especially this 1500$ beast.

The Soundstaging on the HD800 is HUGE! The Instrument Separation is Hi-Fi Premium. All parts of the frequency is very much balanced. I would seriously love to get these. ;)

@sf2400 it's fucking worth it. it's 1.7K here in canada:(( but that's not all, you will need a really good equalizer/amplifier for it to even work, or a really good surround sound system to plug into. only lossless music and blu-ray movies are viable with this thing - no mp3/rma etc... or divx/dvd/x264, only vc-1 with DTS true HD or wav, flac, alac (not preferable, but acceptable) or ape.

@SWATPhantom Ah, sorry for not replying for so long, for some reason Youtube decided to stop emailing me when my comments get replied to. For live events it's as bad as you can get. The thing is that these phones are open eared, meaning that you can hear everything that is happening outside and they can hear everything you're listening to. Closed headphones distort the sound cos it reverbs off the plastic covering. these are open to have a more balanced and natural sound.
