I LOVED the girl with the dragon tattoo - I agree it shouldn't be remade in the usual American hero bullshit way...leave somethings as they are...brilliant in the first place and Kristen Stweart shouldn't even have played Bella let alone Lisbeth... the woman who plays her in the original is AMAZING!

I think if she was cast to play The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo (which i also think this movie shouldnt be remade) I'd cry my eyes out. Kristen Stewert cannot possibly play as lisbeth,that role is a very powerful role,Kristen is only good at (judging from her films) playing as a angsty disturbed speechless confused girl.

I think Kristen became famous because of her dad but I think she's a great actress. I think this becuase the feeling that she puts into her character is amazing.

No, No, No, NO! Please let Carrie Mulligan or Ellen Page play Lisabeth and not Kristen. She's not strong enough as an actress to even delve half as deep as Noomi Rapace did in playing her. Oh my God. Like when she was only about 14 year old she played a girl who got raped in that movie Speak. I think she can really pull off play very dark mysterious characters with a dark past.

If people get past Twilight. @theloverofmovies91 Let's just agree to disagree. Kristen bothers me so much. I can't watch her in anything. She has ticks that she uses that NO actor should use and she uses them as a defense mechanism because she isn't comfortable. I get that. But I don't think it makes her good. She plays the exact same character (variations at least) in every movie. And I'm not saying this because of Twilight. I have seen her in Speak, Adventureland, The Cake Eaters, ect. She's so terrible.

I take acting very seriously, especially with young actors (teens-20's) because there are so many mediocre ones in that age group and I'm sick of it. So when someone like Carrie Mulligan or Amanda Seyfried or Alia Shawkat come along who actually have talent, putting them up against someone like Kristen is kind of pointless because they're just so much better. She was Kristen playing Joan Jett. I like actors who immerse themselves in their characters, not try to imitate them. It's hard to explain.

Oh,i don't know...Noomi Rapace set the bar extremely high and i think Kristen has a loooong way to go before she even tries to act in a so demanding role!

She wasn't even that great in Twilight or New Moon,better in Eclipse i admit but Lisbeth Salander is a much complicated character and i don't believe she can live up to it yet!
