History is always messy, no matter what age or area. It is hard to assume, before any slave trade, all Africans lived in harmony and no slavery (or captives as American indians call it). The outcome OF African slavery was to spread African people all over the world. You have little difference with a child born of horrible parents. What YOU chose to make of it and what to do is up to you. There is little profit in hatred. Unfortunately today, African people are enslaved by other masters.

The myth is broken, no longer will we be enslaved by another. NEVER AGAIN!!!

I hope that one day these commemorations are extended to all the African countries enslaved by Islamic Arabs for the past 1,400 years. Unfortunately, they are still enslaved, so there is no commemoration and no mourning for the 18 MILLION Africans used to build the Islamic empire. They have no descendents.
