As for art, it should be encouraged but then there is difference between art & obscenity & cheapness. Look at films like ‘Taare Zamin Par’, ‘My name is khan’ & so many other films, dramas & programs which provide entertainment & good lessons too in a clean & polished way whereas there are majority of cheap stuff being brought about just to make money.

Yes it does prove your point. If Sati practice came from Hinduism it should be found in Hindu scriptures right? If not, that means it was due to cultural influence - i.e. mughal invasion.
Muslims didn't help abolish Sati Practice...in fact, they triggered it. If it wasn't for them invading our land, and raping hindu women, Sati practice would have never evolved in the first place.

Yeah, bollywood does take the song and make it better and more profitable but sometime in the future bollywood is gonna get called out for plagiarism and hopefully the original artists will get paid their dues.
