There are few explinations:

-Something (a small space rock passed by the camera) Considering the camera sends back its feeds in what are call frames.

-The camera (like said) was updated or malfunctioned. It happens.

-The Sun in SOL (Our solar system) have these things called "Sun Spots". They emmit radiation that can malfunction technology i.e. Radios,satellites,anything electronic. If you watched the same vid i did, there is a sun spot pointing directly at the camera at the time.

Its magnetic field is visible through the loops of filaments that can be seen in this image. Those bring spots in the corona are places where the magnetic field lines are located. SCIENCE!

it takes 8 minutes for the suns light to hit earth, this means where it was daytime in the world, the sky would have gone dark for a second and it would have been all over the news. there was nothing on the news. so something must have past infront of the camera, not the sun

This was a malfunctioning of SDO´s AIA 171 camera. All of the other cameras onboard didn´t recorded this "shadow", so nothing went in from of the satellite, because all of the cameras would have recorded it. And it didn´t have to do with solar activities because none of the other solar satellites like SOHO or STEREO recorded anything this exact time. Stop being so paranoid about space phenomena.

A shadow on the surface of the sun??? Would mean something brighter is shining behind something between the observer and the sun.

Then to say something passes in front on the sun - is correct in terms of where the observer/camera is. It would also mean that the object passing in between the camera lens and the sun would have to be travelling at a speed relative to the distance separation. What could be traveling there and fast?

The lapsed time is roughly 45 minutes. the satellite passes behind the earth and the moon at points in it's orbit. This would explain the black and half frames. It is a time lapse recorded in universal time(Hours:Minutes:seconds UT).
