Although the laser may indicate where the end(s) of the club should point during certain points of the golf swing, it is used while in slow motion and most cases while not looking at the ball.
As long as a player can swing it at regular swing speed while seeing the laser with peripheral vision because they are looking at the ball...then maybe it's effective for a seasoned player who is attempting to re-program their swing. For a beginner it would work better.
Martin - could you accomplish the same thing with the string and laser light as you did with Morgan Pressel? Also, what is the perfect length of the string.
Buy some blue tac, a couple of cheap key ring lazers, and you can make your own.
